Below is a look at the previously unannounced (until yesterday) The Sandman: Overture Statue from DC Collectibles.

Designed by J.H. Williams III, sculpted by Dave Cortes, you can see above that the statue is unfinished and still a work-in-progress. You know that it’s coming together nicely and we're looking forward to seeing photos of the final statue once it’s completed. It appears as though The Sandman is either descending from the heavens or merely the night clouds. The sculpture has a very dream like quality to it, a trademark of the property.

Look for The Sandman: Overture Statue in comic and specialty stores, and on www.shopdccollectibles.com in 2014!
