Chances are you've probably noticed a certain degree of wanton spending and unchecked consumption going on around you. Don't worry – it is normal. You see, everybody tries their very best to whip each other into a buying frenzy this time of year because...um...holidays and stuff! I'm not quite sure if I should check with druids or shamans or something but...yeah! We spend money to show off our love. It is pretty much reverse trolling if there is such a word. You guys are familiar with trolling right? You see, when you give a gift that person knows that you like or care about them and you don't hate them...or maybe you hate them and you are going to get them a gift they hate because you're like that. Big Marvel psychopath? Get em a Batman Shirt. DC maniac? Get em an Avengers shirt. You see how this works, right? Yeah!
Okay, so that might have been a bit hard to follow but the holidays are closing in on us and I'm here to let you know that you should probably act soon...if not for others, yourself! I know we are all fans of procrastination here but now is the time to get in gear. We are quickly running out of time! Hey, that sort of rhymes! Okay, enough of that! What kind of gifts though might you be interested in? Well, I'll give you a few suggestions! Of course you could always go over and take a gander at SuperheroStuff, but here's a small snippet.
My first suggestion is for those of you who have managed to spawn some progeny...or know somebody who has. I'm sure you could just tell everybody you did and they'll believe you because this is the internet and your significant other is a 10/10. Hey, that's been verified by the internet!
Along the line of broodlings, we also have this sparkly Wonder Woman dress for the little ones. I'm not quite if they'll be able to use 'Frozen' powers or stuff like that but Disney has a pretty strong stranglehold on that sort of thing. Still, this thing is a great step for bringing peace to 'Man's World'. They really should work on that phrase for the movie.
Of course what are the holidays without something warm? This great Chewbacca hoodie is made with 100% real Wookiee fur! Wait, no. That would be insanely cruel. I think we just used Ewok fur instead. Those guys are vicious little buggers...who slow roasts people alive? I mean really!
Continuing with glorious Chewbacca goodness, this form fitting dress for the ladies will have them tearing the arms off of droids who are beating them in space-chess in no time. Unfortunately, you'll need to find your own Bowcaster. We aren't allowed to sell those things anymore.
Speaking of the ladies, how about this great Wonder Woman necklace? It'll probably cause people to tell the truth or at least be captivated by it. I'm not entirely sure how that works, but we will continue to run tests for you. You know...for SCIENCE!
When you come on down, ready to see what Santa brought you, make sure that you have donned this Batman adult costume PJ. It doesn't have butt-flaps(always the first question), but you will be able to dole out JUSTICE! Hopefully you didn't say too many mean things on ComicBookMovie...you know, Santa is a frequent viewer of this website and he adjusts presents accordingly.
If you want something with a bit of subtly, why not this Captain America cardigan? It'll keep you warm without being too obvious. Well, it is fairly obvious to us comic book fans but other people will just assume you are a fan of the ol' red, white, and blue! 'MURICA!
Of all of the things that really surprise me working here is that how much you guys love Nightwing. It is like you guys can't get enough Dick! All of the time calling us up and wondering when we will get more of the D-Man in. Wait, is that what I want to write? Sure, there's no way this could possibly be misconstrued.
Oh, here's a form fitting shirt you guys are probably keen on. A shirt for the ladies that says 'Don't push my buttons'? Yeah! I watch you guys press each other buttons all day...I think you guys derive some kind of sick nutrition from it. Sometimes I wonder how you guys spend 20 pages berating each other, but then again, I'm surprised not all of the articles get like that!
