Artist Lee Bermejo, a frequent collaborator of Brian Azzarello, turned in one of the most bizarre and deeply disturbing renditions of the the Harlequin of Hate with their 2008 Joker graphic novel. Prime 1 Studios has used that graphic novel as inspiration for a limited edition Joker statue that will retail for $1,049 and $1,199, respectively.
With Joker anchoring a divisive but financially successful Suicide Squad film that will be followed up with a Birds of Prey spinoff that also features the Batman foe, the value of this statue will likely skyrocket as the years pass.

Aside from the comics, Joker will be featured in the Birds of Prey spinoff, however there's conflicting reports on whether Jared Leto will portray him. Set photos from Birds of Prey filming revealed that a stand-in was used to film scenes between Harley Quinn and Joker (in Los Angeles) as Leto was busy shooting Morbius the Vampire in London.
Speaking on a potential return to the role that divided many comic book fans, Leto stated, "I would definitely play the Joker again. It all depends on the script and the circumstances as it always does. [But] I don’t think [I'll appear in Birds of Prey]. You’d have to ask [WB]...Well, we’ll see."
One place that many fans think Joker WILL NOT turn up is in James Gunn's Suicide Squad film. And on the slim chance that he does appear, he won't be played by Leto as he and Gunn have a bit of "history" together on social media.
There's always the chance that going forward, Joker will be played by Joaquin Phoenix , who is playing the character in an origin film directed by Todd Phillips. The film is scheduled to be released this October.
Moving back to the comic book side of things, there are currently 3 versions of the Joker running around the mashed-up continuity of the current DC Comics, which was manipulated by Watchmen's Doctor Manhattan. The miniseries will be released under the Black Label imprint and will be co-written by Geoff Johns and Jason Fabok. Batgirl and Jason Todd are set to co-star.
Over on the TV side, Titans continues to tease the appearance of the Joker, who just may feature more explicitly in the next batch of episodes with an actor cast to play Batman. Gotham also closed out its final season with an especially creepy take on the criminal mastermind, played by Cameron Monaghan.
In addition to the Joker origin movie, Birds of Prey and the Suicide Squad sequel, Warner Bros. is also developing a Joker and Harley Quinn film and a Gotham City Sirens film. Though placed on the backburner, they could be resurrected at any moment, especially if any of the aforementioned films perform well at the box office.
Then, there's also Matt Reeves The Batman, which was recently said to be zeroing in on its Caped Crusader. The film will feature 6 villains from Batman's rogues gallery, with two identified as Catwoman and Penguin. With that many Gotham villains appearing in one film, its hard to imagine that at least one of them won't be the Joker.
