Deadpool: After Deadpool appeared in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, many rumors surfaced concerning a spin-off film. With Ryan Reynolds giving tons of interviews these days for Green Lantern, he also gave some interesting facts for the Deadpool Spin-Off.

"Growing up, I read a bit of X-Men stuff and I loved Deadpool. You know, my brother introduced me to Deadpool and that was a character I loved, but beyond that I didn't know that much about comics. Those are the ones I kind of stuck to."

"Deadpool is a character that I love and I got a great opportunity to play him in more of ancillary sense in a film, which was great because it allowed me to jump in and play him, but then not be committed to too much beyond that. But I do have that film that's in development still, so we'll see what happens with that."

Stop calling the TDKR stuff "news". When the articles are not reporting insignificant tidbits, it's just a bunch of rumored shit and fan-fiction. The TDKR stuff should be screened for quality. It's [frick]ing annoying.

I love Reynolds for still doing Deadpool after Green Lantern. That's integrity. It seems a little weird to some, but you know, he doesn't necessarily ever have to show his face as Ryan Reynolds, which may assuage the people wondering "why is Green Lantern killing people and making jokes about it?" Wade Wilsons face is heavily ruined plus he always is in a mask, so maybe we may only hear RR and not see his face? Just a thought.

superpooper I seriously doubt a Hollywood film company will cover up Ryan Reynolds face for a movie. Hell, I doubt they would even scar his face. Even more less likely if Green Lantern is a success. Maybe if it's under LionsGate or something. But they're going to want to show his face. Hollywood loves a good CBM payday, but they HATE the mask they wear. They can never keep them on.
