These are mostly the important franchises, even though films like Jack Ryan and Jack Reacher still haven't been released yet. But it's interesting to see who owns what, and as you can see, each studio has more than one big franchise. Thanks to FirstShowing.net for the heads up.

Poooooooor Lionsgate, they have no empire. Disney's lowest Janitor could buy them.

Man, Universal sucks these days. Shame, considering they were once one of the biggest studios in Hollywood.

Disney should TOTALLY buy DC. LOL! More animated series, better movie production, etc.

Paramount needs to make a major move, they have nearly twice as many options as Disney. Then again with Marvel Disney has unlimited options…

I like how universal has "The Universal Monsters" When was the last one released? 1932? Or does that involve any movie containing those characters?

Disney should buy WB, are you nuts or just stupid? Disney is the worst company, they turn their properties into lame pink girl friendly BS!!! I can't wait for the first Marvel Musical featuring Justine Beiber and The Jonas Brothers.

I just don't understand WB!
They earn constantly more than any other studio in last decade due to HP & Batman!
2008, 2009, 2010 they were No.1! With Paramount at 2nd!
In 2011 both exchanged places!

This year WB is at 2nd with 100 million behind Sony!
& Sony only have Skyfall coming!
& Disney is at 3rd with only Lincoln & Monster Inc (re-release)!

While WB has The Hobbit!
& couldve The Great Gatsby as well of it wasn't moved to May 2013!!

I just don't get that even after earning so much with such consistency; WHY CAN'T THEY THINK? & BUILD JUSTICE LEAGUE & other franchises!!
Stupid studio just don't know what to do!

... & I agree to the earlier point:

Christopher Nolan should be included in WB as a Franchise!
TDK is No.1 at US box office for WB!
TDKR is NO.1 at US box office!
Inception is at No.7! & the highest grossing original film!

Plus MAN OF STEEL & his future films; including Wally Pfsiter's 120 Million$ TRANSENDENCE!!

NOLAN is a WB franchise & the most powerfully branded one!!

I bet FOX is pissed about STAR WARS being at Disney. They're never gonna let go of the rights to X-MEN now.

Exactly. Of how expanded the MCU would be if the Fantastic Four-related properties get included would be [frick]in epic.

Only if.......
