Everytime I see Joe Quesada, I get the urge to destroy things with my bare hands.

@GoldenOne33
He's Batman with multiple personality disorder, basically. No powers, just cool gadgets and pretty sweet costume.

Weren't the Defender's based out of San Fran for a while? I'll have top go back and check my collection.

It'd be cool if they introduced Punisher on Netflix.

Okay, I had to go back and check. Jessica Jones was never a member and Iron Fist was only a honorary member. Just call it Heroes for Hire and not even call it Defenders.

I sorta feel the same way about this guy as I do for Loeb (hint: opposite of good), except that this guy actually has talent (DRAWING, not his creative decisions).

.......but are they in the MCU???? Why has no one out right asked this yet?!?!?!?!

Defender's base of operations also included: the Rocky Mountains and Richmond Riding Academy on Long Island, New York. I might be wrong on San Fran.

Lol, yo, I know that this is a dumb question but will these series tie into the MCU?? Or will they be like Arrow? Marvel Please don't hesitate to make these series dark and gritty. You're on Netflix!
jazzman
jazzman - 2/27/2014, 4:46 PM
the show should be called Heroes For Hire
TheRationalNerd
TheRationalNerd - 2/27/2014, 4:47 PM
Maybe "dark and gritty" is pushing it but since they're all more grounded characters they're circumstances and conflicts should be more serious and urban if anyone understands what I'm saying here.

I hope we get to see Punisher and Moon Knight at some point. A Black Widow cameo would be cool too.

Doesn't Moon Knight have, like enhanced senses when the moon is full? Maybe that was from the original run. I thought he had some connection to an egyption god...

@TheBlackNerd- I agree with you 100% And I'm pretty sure these shows will be included in the MCU.
MarkV
MarkV - 2/27/2014, 4:58 PM
From Wikepedia, it appears whether he has any powers or not is not precisely known:

"He has some degree of superhuman strength during the peak of a lunar cycle. It's not known how much of this strength is mystical and how much is simply the result of self-hypnosis due to his psychological instability."

Edit: looks like I was wrong

"During the 2008 run of the Moon Knight series, Spector states that he no longer has any superpowers."

@TheBlackNerd I thought they already confirmed they are in the MCU...

I also think we will other street level...Punisher, MoonKnight, Paladin, Shang Chi, Misty Knight...and How could you have DareDevil with no Elektra....

My question really is...Is this happening for one reason..so Marvel can use Kingpin..he is at Sony i believe and did NOT revert with Daredevil rights..someone correct me if im wrong

Woop! Woop! Street level heroes! You can expect these TV shows to be gritty with them taking place in Hell's Kitchen.

Kingpin is owned by Sony (stupid I know) so I doubt he'll be the main villain even though he should be.
