When I decided to host this years CBM costume contest, I figured that we'd get a few great entries. What I didn't expect was for them ALL to be so utterly brilliant! I can't begin to explain how difficult it was for me and my fellow judges to pick the following winners and implore you to head over to the original article (by clicking HERE) to take a look at them. Thank you all for entering, and if you weren't lucky this year, then good luck in 2011!

On another note YAY!!!!!!!!! I'm freaking excited! I totally forgot to check this today and I hear my hubby call from the other room "BABE YOU SON OF A BI@$#!" lmao! Can't wait to pick my shirt!

I have to say I'm really sad I don't see the little guy in the Ghost Busters costume on here, even in honorable mention that whole outfit was soooo freaking cute! Everyone should vote for my hub PIE we spent over a month making that mask ;)

Holy Shit, i won. that's awesome.
Congrats 2 the runner-ups & everyone else that entered,
all of ur costumes were great but apparently not as great as mine LOL, na only joking the other costumes were really great though.
And i'll tell u all 1 thing, it definitly pays 2 look just like the real(red mist/mclovin) whatever u wanta call him, but there's only 1 problem, where r the ladies. LOL

Blee@'I totally agree with all your comments about my costume. (except the garbage bags, those are actually boot covers for costumes, bought them at a store). However, i offset the weaknesses in my costume by adding in the cute dogs as props. I give them all the credit :)

The red mist costume is the best for sure.

first of all.. my apologies for not entering or voting the first time around, had a lot on my plate lately, mainly because, WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2011 has been very addictive for me! lol

anyways, i'd like to send my congrats to all who have competed and all who have won, you ALL truly deserve it!

however, my vote goes 100% to StarSapphire, times infinity! you all are amazing, but to me, she brings the WOW! to every competition, lol..

@ Blee947 - Sigh... You're supposed to refute what I was saying (the fact that you're RUDE), not back it up with more evidence. As to who should have won and who didn't I agree that there are a few I think were great (Ghost Buster Kid anyone?!), that aren't even honorable mentions but you're going to have to take that up with the judges. And on the subject of getting by using "looks"... I've realized it's not what you look like that helps you get where you want to go in life... it's all about being nice to others, realizing it's okay to have an opinion but knowing when it to keep your trap shut when it might offend someone. That's what I was saying. But I guess those life lessons only come with maturity. Thanks doll!

Lot of good ones actually. I bet it was tough to decide the winners. I really like Zombie Spiderman, it's different and well done.

Thor costume is also really well done (good job Thor77).

Of course The Mist is spot on, rightfully getting first place, congratulations.

Girls always lookin' good I see :) and I'm totally diggin' Gaga's shoulder ink (it looks damn good and rad-which is unrelated to the costumes but had to mention it lol).

So i was bummed i didn't place, but the reaction from people on the streets and in the bars tonight made the costume totally worth it. A guy kicked his lawn furniture over when he saw me ( icant make this $#!% up)

You think they made their outfits in like 5 minutes or something? It took more than an hour at least on each one. Keep those moronic comments to yourself. Congrats to all! Great stuff.

Blee, there are lots of factors involved in choosing teh winners, how much effort/time they spent on their costume is not the overriding factor. The End result and effect also comes into consideration. And of course how much they look like the character they are posing as. All of the finalists looked great and it was hard to choose, but there you go, everyone can't win the top spot.
