Just saw the Skeleton Twins tonight, both Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig were fantastic in it.

Unrelated sad news:
Guardians won't make as much money in China as we thought.
China released last week their biggest movie of all time and it's killing GotG.
If WOM is good it could do a lot but it will probably do as much as Thor 2 (55 millions), and it won't become the highest CBM of the year.

@oNosferatuZodd
Well I hope you're right. The site were I saw it is just a forum but they know what they're talking about most of the time (And right now is the only place with information about GotG chinese boxoffice).
Opening day it made just 8.1 millions

"Whaaat?" lol

Maze Runner was awesome. They fixed some of the minor annoyances from the book and managed to keep the story closely adapted with a good pace. Can't wait to see the psychotic Cranks in the Scorch Trial.

I finally read the Divergent sequel. Insurgent. Interesting dealing with the main character's PTSD and learning more about the divergent brain, what sections are enlarged, what centers are less developed, mirror neurons and such.
I thought the movie hit a major misstep removing the Visiting Day section of the book. It aloud a little decompress and developed a bunch of the characters more and would have taken all of 10 minutes of film. And would have made me care alot more about alot of the characters during the final act of the movie. Major misstep.

Hunger Games is completely boring to me right up until the third act of the last book. And then I'm only slightly interested.

@SuperheroFan96 Yeah, agreed. Pacing and lack of development for supporting characters were some of the film's biggest problems. And it's small-moments kind of stuff that could develop those characters, interactions and such.

Not sure about the eye-stabbing thing. It's brutal and sets a tone, but all we get out of it in the second book is Eddie with an eye-patch threatening to stab Peter in the throat with his own fork. (I'm 100 pages from the end of the book).

SNL blows, Hasn't been funny at all since the 90's after that they fell off in terms of great sketches and talent. This show was always better though and you can't deny that folks!

SNL is murdering itself with bad skits.

It's the not actors who are to blame, but the writers.

They need to makes some big changes with show. Or just cancel it all together.

...Been watching SNL since 88/89... The success of modern SNL comes in waves - you will have three years of a decent cast and writers (along with the correct hosts) gradual decline for three years, and build it back up for three years, and get another three years of a decent wave. IMHO, the last pf these peaks was Seasons 35, 36, 37 - 38 it drops, 39 is crap, and 40 isn't looking too great (although I will say that there have been some solid skits this season - ThunderPratt, Upcoming Marvel Movies, the aforementioned one last night, and Hader doing the infomercial). Hader and Wiig carried last night's episode but I noticed a lot of recycling of material (Celebrity Game Night skit is the same concept as Celebrity Jeopardy... :/). In either event - Hader has been one of my faves since his first skit, same with Jay... SNL has a lot of issues right now, but it isn't the first time the show has faced issues and won't be the last. Season 40 won't be the last - Lorne can only do so much, but I will agree that writing is an issue... I might also go out on a limb and say talent isn't so much of an issue but rather how to utilize the talent they have.

Someone had a great comment on K&P - K&P kill me about 90 percent of the time - does anyone know how much of their writing they do/to writers do for them?
