The most expensive show in Broadway history,
Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, has experienced it's fair share of delays. The $50 million spectacle has been rescued by it's latest financial woes by Bono’s longtime business partner, Michael Cohl, and Disney.
The New Pork Post reports that the show will likely begin previews in September 2010, and open in officially in November 2010.
Those who purchased tickets to see the musical this spring were offered a full refund if they do not want to exchange them for new dates in the fall.
The musical features original songs written by U2's Bono and The Edge, including "Boy Falls from the Sky," "Bouncing Off the Walls," "Rise Above," "Bullying by Numbers," "Turn Off the Dark," "Pull the Trigger" and "If the World Should End."
Alan Cumming is still on board to portray
Norman Osborn, the Green Goblin.
Newcomer Reeve Carney will play the
role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
Evan Rachel Wood is set as Peter's
love interest Mary Jane Watson.

MPP - I'd rather watch a 24-hr, commercial free special of Spider-Man 3 than see this.
