In a month’s time, Solo: A Star Wars Story will be hitting theaters, and fans can expect to see a lot of the smuggler turned rebel hero’s past. Just the recent trailer, seemingly revealed how Solo received his trusty blaster.

However, there is one thing in Han’s possession that fans know little about, those golden dice that hung in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon. This trinket was mostly just a small detail to a lot of fans, but after making a significant appearance in The Last Jedi, more fans have become interested in knowing the history behind the golden dice.

Now, those fans may have just received their answer, as new promo art for the film shows the dice in someone else’s possession.

As you can see, Han’s dice are in the hands of Emilia Clarke’s Qi’ra. Of course, this isn’t absolute confirmation that Solo received these dice from Qi’ra, but it is important to know this isn’t the first time they have been connected to Clarke’s character. After all the first teaser, saw the dice hanging on the land speeder carrying Han and Qi’ra in the first teaser trailer.

We had previously learned from Lucasfilm's Pablo Hidalgo that those dice are the ones Han Solo used to win the Millennium Falcon, but if this promo art is any indication those dice may have even more meaning for the hero, as they may be the only reminder of his Qi'ra.

Oh dear, she is very likely going to die. I would also say betray, but why would Han keep the dice of someone who betrayed him?

Ok....its common knowledge he won the falcon in a game of Sabaac which is a card game. Dice weren't involved in any way when he won the falcon. I don't like how they're pushing this mythos of the dice to justify adding new characters and backstory.
