In recent weeks, you may have seen a rumour floating around social media about Hayden Christensen being eyed to play The Brave and the Bold's Batman.

It would be cool to see the iconic Star Wars actor land a high-profile superhero role but, unfortunately, we don't think Batman is going to happen for him. On the plus side, he'll likely have a lot to do in the coming years as Anakin Skywalker (starting with the upcoming Ahsoka season 2).

In an interview with GQ, Christensen answered many of the internet's questions, including whether he'd like to suit up as the DCU's Dark Knight.

"Batman is a great character, but I think that Robert Pattinson did a really great job," he said. As for which side of the hero he would be most interested in playing, Christensen added, "Oh. It's the dichotomy of the character, I don't know, you gotta have one and the other."

"Probably more Bruce Wayne would be the easier character for me to access personally."

In Revenge of the Sith, Christensen was fortunate enough to wear Darth Vader's iconic suit and did so again in both Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka. He's getting pretty comfortable in the Sith Lord's boots and made it clear Vader would triumph over the MCU's greatest villain when asked about a possible clash.

"Obviously Vader, right?" he responded. "Definitely Vader. Vader beats everybody, always."

Earlier this month, Christensen played coy when asked about his Star Wars future. "Look, as to whether or not we see Anakin again, I don't know. But as evidenced by that last shot of the series, he’s with her in spirit, and they continue to have this connection," he teased.

In both Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka, the actor also suited up as Vader again. Asked how it felt to have all eyes on him on set, he said, "It is a character that people have a lot of affection for, and yeah, you get a sense of that."

"A lot of the people who are working on these projects now grew up on the prequels and were huge fans of those films, and so I think they have a special connection to these characters and to Anakin. Anytime Vader shows up, that's a crowd-pleaser, so that's an easy one. But it's really nice to see the support that Anakin has now."
