Corey Feldman Wants a Role In New STAR WARS Films As Han Solo's Son
A lot of actors are expressing their excitement for Star Wars Episode VII, and how they would love to be a part of the franchise. Well, you can now add Corey Feldman to that list, as he would like to play Han Solo's son. Check out what he had to say...
Even though we are three years away from Star Wars Episode VII, a lot of actors are sharing their enthusiasm for the new chapters in this popular franchise, and how they would love to have a part in these new films. Talking to MovieWeb, Corey Feldman (The Goonies, The Lost Boys) expressed his interest in possibly playing Han Solo's son. More below:
"More than anything, I want a part in that new Star Wars franchise. I think that is a great idea. But what I would like to see in the development of those next three movies is that they bring back all of the original characters, as they are still alive. And you can make them the older generation. Then, whether its their kids, or a bunch of new young soldiers, or Jedis, or warriors... Whatever it is, I would certainly like to be a part of that new young brigade that they are going to bring forward. I think Harrison Ford's son is a really great idea, actually. Fans have always said that I would make a great Indiana Jones, a great Young Indiana Jones. We look very similar, we have the same type of bravado."

Walt Disney is planning to release Star Wars Episode VII in 2015, followed by a new Star Wars film every two to three years. It was recently revealed that Toy Story 3 and Little Miss Sunshine writer Michael Arndt will pen Episode VII and that he already wrote treatments for an entire new trilogy, while Lawrence Kasdan and Simon Kinberg will also work on the films by possibly expadning the universe with spin-offs.
