This summer, one of the most highly anticipated sequels ever finally makes its way into theaters everywhere: Universal's Jurassic World. The film, while still produced by the Academy Award-winning Steven Spielberg (Jurassic Park), has Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) in the director's chair with Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Bryce Dallas Howard (Spider-Man 3) in the lead roles.

Ahead of next week's Detroit Motor Show, Mercedes-Benz has confirmed their return to the big screen after renewing their partnership with Universal Pictures for the next installment in the billion-dollar Jurassic Park franchise. They have also released three new stills featuring the debut of their upcoming GLE 63 AMG Coupe, which will likely be driven by Bryce Dallas Howard's character based on the stills below.

The collaboration between the two corporations began back in 1997 when Mercedes introduced their original M-Class SUV in The Lost World: Jurassic Park."
Head of Marketing Communications for Mercedes-Benz Cars Jen Thiemer released this statement with the news: "We are delighted to have been able to support this epic action-adventure with our vehicles. Our wide range of SUVs in particular fit perfectly with Jurassic World's various requirements, with the focus on our new trendsetter, the GLE Coupé.

Check out the stills, which feature Howard & Chris Pratt as well as director Colin Trevorrow & producer Frank Marshall alongside the car, below and sound off with your thoughts in the usual spot!

The Lost World: Jurassic Park had more than its fair share of problems, but MAN were those vehicles awesome. At the time, it was a paradise for a little kid like me haha.

you can complain about product placements in movies, but the truth is most of big budget films can't even go into production without the outside "help" (money) from the other companies (car companies for example)

Just watch "The Greatest Movie Ever Sold" by Morgan Spurlock to get some clue about the topic.

I don't mind product placement when it's not so obvious like in Transformers 4 (although it was so obvious it became pretty laughable. So good so bad.)

That car makes no sense for driving on jungle terrain.

You would want to be driving a jeep, a humvee, or a truck with a modified suspension.

Scientists do all sorts of unethical modifications to genetics. But when they get paid for all that? Boss'n and floss'n. Why not sport the extra fancy super expensive stuff eh? You only genetically recreated dinosaurs, no need to be shy I guess.
