Avengers: Endgame may be at the top of everyone's most anticipated blockbuster of the year list, but Michael Dougherty’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters seems to be giving the superhero epic a run for its money after a series of of very impressive trailers and promos.

Now, we have three more TV spots for the Godzilla sequel, and they contain some jaw-dropping new shots of Big G blasting King Ghidorah with his atomic breath, Rodan swallowing some poor dude whole, Mothra swooping in for a mid-air clash with the army, and more.

Check out the spots down below by clicking the "View List" button, and let us know if you're looking forward to Godzilla: King of the Monsters in the usual place.

Following the global success of “Godzilla” and “Kong: Skull Island” comes the next chapter in Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ cinematic MonsterVerse, an epic action adventure that pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history. The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

Starring Zhang Ziyi, Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Bradley Whitford, Ken Watanabe, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance and Aisha Hinds, Godzilla: King of the Monsters stomps into theaters May 31, 2019.

The five minutes I saw before Shazam was pretty awe-inducing. Mothra and his many heads looked amazing.

Looks so good. I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around how the Kong vs Godzilla film is going to work. I would think after taking down Ghidorah, which I'm sure he will, Godzilla would destroy Kong easily. Just curious how that's going to be addressed cause as it stands it seems they would have to either de-power Godzilla or overpower Kong in order to match them up.

@SuperManes - One thing I can see is raising Kong's intelligence, making his combat style less brutish and more cunning.

@SuperManes - They'll fight each other in the first act, find out they were tricked in the second, and team up in the third to fight the bigger enemy.

@Vanillain - that makes sense.

@SuperManes - I have a theory, that after the event of KoTM, the world will pit both Big-G and Kong against each other and arm the Oxygen Destroyer. This will backfire, and in turn, create Destroyah, and all monsters will have to team up to take him down.

@Reeds2Much - what do you think that bigger enemy will be? A new creation maybe or something that already exists in the "universe"?

@JoeInTheBox - I'm not familiar with that. I admit I don't know Godzilla mythology.

@SuperManes - No worries. Long story short, the Oxygen Destroyer is the bomb that was created in order to kill Godzilla in 1954, just laying him dormant. The bomb mutated creatures in the area and in present day, the evolve into Big-G's arguably worst and most destructive enemy, Destroyah. It would take Big-G's ultimate sacrifice with assistance from the army to take him down.

@JoeInTheBox - I like this theory... or.. after the events of this movie they build a MechaGodzilla to destroy him after they find out that Kong can't do it... then they both fight MechaG

JoeInTheBox - 4/10/2019, 9:38 AM
@MotherGooseUPus - I had thought about that too. Also feels more adequate to come from the army, in this version. I preferred the alien created Mecha-G though.

@JoeInTheBox - agreed with the original mechaG being controlled by aliens... idk.. theres alot of possibilities... would love to see Spacegodzilla, Biollante, and Gigan down the road somehow

The intelligence gap between (most versions of) Godzilla and Kong is a lot smaller than most people think. This Godzilla is clearly one of the smart ones. I think Kong's biggest advantages are going to be speed and arm reach.

Also, bringing in Destroyah that soon feels premature to me.

@SuperManes - It depends. If Legendary has the funds to purchase the rights to more Toho properties then I'd say other Toho Kaiju will be utilized but if they can't afford to do that then they'll come up with their own characters like they did with the MUTOs in the Godzilla 2014.

I hope this is good but the plot synopses has me worried a bit but with all the action on the screen I doubt it will matter much .
