Thanks to an updated 2021 press preview kit, the full cast list for Warner Bros.' hotly-awaited Untitled Matrix FIlm (a.k.a. The Matrix 4) has been revealed, and it appears as though the film has quietly added Primetime Emmy-nominee Christina Ricci (Sleepy Hollow; Teen Titans: The Judas Contract) in a top-secret role.
She joins a cast headlined by returning franchise stars Keanu Reeves as Neo and Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity with an all-new supporting cast consisting of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Telma Hopkins, Eréndira Ibarra, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt, Brian J. Smith, and Jada Pinkett Smith as Niobe.
While not listed on the main cast list, Daniel Bernhardt and Lambert Wilson are also expected to reprise their roles as Agent Johnson and The Merovingian, respectively, from previous installments in the action-packed sci-fi franchise.
Lana Wachowski directed the long-awaited sequel, with a screenplay she co-wrote with David Mitchell & Aleksander Hemon. She's also a producer on the project with Grant Hill and James McTeigue.
