Earlier today, Marvel Studios debuted a new poster and 2-minute "Destiny" featurette for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and Empire Magazine has now followed up by sharing a first look at this month's newsstand and subscribers only covers.
The standard artwork features Simu Liu as the titular Master of Martial Arts alongside Awkwafina’s Katy and Meng’er Zhang’s Xialing, but the awesome subscriber cover is understandably getting a lot more attention. Illustrated by Doaly, this image sees Shang-Chi enveloped by a stylish depiction of the mysterious Great Protector, who may or may not turn out to be an incarnation of Fin-Fang Foom.
Check out both covers at the link below, and be sure to pick up the latest issue of Empire when it hits shelves on August 5 for interviews with the cast, and more.
Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. The film also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng.
Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and produced by Kevin Feige and Jonathan Schwartz, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Charles Newirth serving as executive producers.
