Following the recent "final" trailer, Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema have debuted a new international poster for Shazam! Fury of the Gods, which finds the titular hero facing-off against a fearsome-looking - and very large - dragon.
We know from the new trailer that Shazam and his family will be facing off against several mythical creatures, with Lucy Liu's villainous Daughter of Atlas riding this fire-breathing beast ("hey, Khaleesi").
Zachary Levi recently responded to the rumor that he, along with pretty much every other pre-DCU actor, would be parting ways with their respective roles as James Gunn and Peter Safran map-out their 10-year plan for the Warner Bros. Discovery/New Line franchise.
Despite initially seeming confident that he'd be sticking around as the hero, Levi would later admit that he wasn't actually sure what the future will hold.
"Bestowed with the powers of the gods, Billy Batson and his fellow foster kids are still learning how to juggle teenage life with having adult Super Hero alter-egos. But when the Daughters of Atlas, a vengeful trio of ancient gods, arrive on Earth in search of the magic stolen from them long ago, Billy—aka Shazam—and his family are thrust into a battle for their superpowers, their lives, and the fate of their world."
From New Line Cinema comes Shazam! Fury of the Gods, which continues the story of teenage Billy Batson who, upon reciting the magic word “SHAZAM!,” is transformed into his adult Super Hero alter ego, Shazam.
