Shazam: Fury of the Gods director David F. Sandberg shared an official behind-the-scenes shot of the Shazam Family earlier today in an effort to get the jump on the inevitable leaked set photos. Well, more snaps have indeed found their way online, but they feature a different character altogether!
Thanks to Just Jared, we have a first glimpse of the legendary Helen Mirren in full costume as Hespera. As far as we know, the "daughter of Atlas" will be a villain, but she appears to have brokered a temporary peace with Zachary Levi's Shazam here as the pair of them sit down for a meal. Perhaps she's posing as an ally like her unnamed sister played by Rachel Zegler?

Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan are once again penning the script for the Shazam sequel. Levi and Mirren will be joined by Asher Angel as Billy Batson and Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman. Lucy Liu will play the third villainous sister, Kalypso.
Shazam: Fury of the Gods is set to hit theaters on June 2, 2023.
