I find it hard to care. It’s like if I watch the movie again, it’s like hooking back up with your ex with that painful reminder of how you broke up. You know they’ll never coming back. I want my Spidey back damn it !!

@Catmanlives - Right, and calling out a excessive and over-the-top opinions is also a part of the discourse. Some of you seem to be under the mistaken impression that simply calling something an opinion immunizes it from criticism or dissent.

@Visualiza - Mate if you can't see why your initial comment is rude I've got nothing else. It's a wasted conversation.

@Catmanlives - And if you can't see why the comment I responded to was petulant, entitled, and over the top, then I can't help you either. Yours was equally rude, and keep in mind that you injected yourself into this wasteful conversation, so you really don't have much room to talk.

Mixed feelings. I don’t care who’s right or wrong fact of the matter is Spider-Man is no longer in the mcu. I wanted to see if mysterio was still alive and what they had planned. Maybe it’ll get leaked

I’m torn between getting the Target Exclusive (which I typically get) with the terrible cover

or the 4K release with the OK cover.

The Spiderman movies have had terrible posters and Blu-ray covers so far i dont know what’s up but it’s sad

While I don't want to support Sony anymore, I still feel obligated to get this due to it being the last movie of the Infinity Saga.

"The Spiderman movies have had terrible posters and Blu-ray covers so far i dont know what’s up but it’s sad"

Bruh, you know EXACTLY what's up. Sony funded the film 100% and therefore handled the marketing, that's why of the last 10 or so MCU films Homecoming and Far From Home are the only MCU film trailers that have that dumbass "trailer before the trailer" nonsense.

I honestly can't remember the last Marvel Studios film to use that wack tactic.

@MCUKnight11

Infinity Saga or not I can't bring myself to support Sony's films in general, now Playstation is another story. I'm probably just as much if not more of a PS fanboy than I am an MCU one, although in both situations I make not being a toxic fanboy my #1 priority as I wish many members of the many respective fandoms would.

I already preordered the steelbook. Since this is the last movie of phase 3. It's just going to be the regular 4k covers from now on(already preordered the Doctor Strange 4k steelbook though).

Interesting that Sony is dropping Far From Home on Blu-ray on the exact same day Marvel Studios is dropping the last of it's 4k titles (Doctor Strange, Ant-Man & GotG). It's almost like lets slip in and hope those who are rebuying those films shell out some cash for Spidey too.
Chewtoy

I’ll likely be buying it, since it won’t be a part of Disney plus going forward.

@UrkelBot - No... Sony doesn’t have any Spider-man rights beyond the film rights. At most, it may keep any likeness of Tom Holland out of the park, but that’s it.

Considering that in “Avengers Campus” continuity Tony Stark is still alive, I assume it won’t matter what Sony does with Spidey, story-wise.

Finally got around to watching this movie this past weekend. It was pretty good, not great. Better than Homecoming, Mysterio was terrific and the best part of the movie, what a great villain (better than Vulture too). First hour was quite slow, the teenage high school drama was good sometimes and then boring and dry other times. 2nd half of the movie was very good with some stellar Mysterio scenes.

If we buy this film all profits go to Sony. If we don't buy it we are basically turning our backs on the final MCU Spiderman film. We lose both ways but we have to hit Sony where it hurts and have their Spiderman films flop and flop hard.

They won’t flop. They’ll probably make a lot of money. Even the TASM movies made 700 mil +.

Kratos and Ellie all day! The MCU will live on with or without Spider-man, so we get to enjoy both. Plus I don't need to watch anymore Spider-man movies as long as I get more of these...

@LongMayHeReign -I agree. But you know Marvel and Sony are still in negotiations right now. They just hit a impasse. One way or another, they will come to a new deal.

So is Spider-Man going to be digitally erased when Marvel releases the Infinity Saga box set? Maybe they can cgi up Holland and make him the Human Torch instead. There done where’s my money?

Hope it has better extra features than Avengers:Endgame. Apart from the Stan Lee tribute, nothing special.

Not enough on the making of Endgame.

This all will have a happy ending. Spiderman is not required to interact with the larger MCU for the Phase 4 period, when that's over trust Feige to come up with a new deal for him to come back.

You people lack faith, Darth Vader would have been disturbed to see this.
