SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE First Poster Swings Online With Miles Morales & Miguel O'Hara

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse writer/producer Christopher Miller has shared what appears to be the first promotional teaser poster for the highly-anticipated Into the Spider-Verse sequel.

The poster was made just for the film's crew, so we'll probably get some different art when the movie finally starts to ramp up its marketing early next year. Regardless, it's still an awesome visual and offers a very fun new look at the returning Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) getting well-acquainted with Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac).

Plot details remain under lock-and-key, but what we do know is that O'Hara will seemingly seek out Miles' help - and the help of a number of other beloved Spider-People - to stop Spot (Jason Schwartzman), a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered.

The cast will feature the voice talents of Oscar Isaac (Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099), Shameik Moore (Miles Morales/Spider-Man), Hailee Steinfeld (Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman), Jake Johnson (Peter B. Parker/Spider-Man), Brian Tyree Henry (Jefferson Davis), Luna Lauren Vélez (Rio Morales), Issa Rae (Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman), Jason Schwartzman as Spot, Rachel Dratch as the Principal, Shea Whigham as George Stacy, and Jorma Taccone as the Vulture.

The film will also introduce a ton of new Spider-People, including the Japanese Spider-Man and the Scarlet Spider, but it'll likely still be a few months before we learn anything more about who'll be voicing all of those top-secret roles.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse swings exclusively into theaters on June 2, 2023.

Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar®-winning Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse debuts in theaters June 2, 2023.

Who knew Sony would be the last line of defense in quality film. Please don't mess this up. In return, we'll try not to notice the flops surrounding Spider-Man, minus Spider-Man.

This film is a long way away. Why are they releasing footage so far out? They released shit last year too😐.

The marketing for this film is weird🤡

@AmazingFILMporg - Agreed. The art style for this particular fight in this universe is pretty basic too and they keep showing this

@AmazingFILMporg - wasn't this supposed to be released in October this year? Maybe that's why

@dracula - hopefully Japanese with subtitles.

Don't think the "emissary from Hell" works as good in English in my opinion.

I remember this being shared before, maybe by some user, but now it being shared officially.

But it's just for the film crew? First time I hear of that. So that would make it a prototype poster. Nevertheless it looks cool enough in itself.

@TheFireForce - if you like Spider-Man, you'd definitely be doing yourself a favor by watching it.

And otherwise also, even if it's just because of the very unique artstyle

@TheFireForce - I also watched the movie last Thursday and it was pretty great, more movies where they use the rest of their cast are needed. And the 3rd act was pretty intense, worth the build up.
