On the same day Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray, we finally have an update on when we'll start to see new toys and merchandise from the Jon Watts-directed film, and it sounds like the wait is going to be a little longer than we were expecting.

Hasbro Pulse has officially revealed that brand new Marvel Legends figures for all three Spider-Men - Peter 1 (Tom Holland), Peter 2 (Tobey Maguire), and Peter 3 (Andrew Garfield) - will be available in 2023, presumably around this same time next year.

For now, it's unclear which characters will make up the rest of the line, but it's probably safe to expect some villains and/or maybe a new Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) figure.

Considering Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures elected to keep any and all Spider-Men concept art under strict lock-and-key, it shouldn't come as a surprise that new merchandise has been significantly delayed. However, with this confirmation, fans can get ready for more announcements in the coming weeks/months and prep their wallets for the onslaught of products for all three of their favorite wall-crawlers!

On a related note, if Hasbro is unable to release any new merchandise until next year, it seems increasingly likely that new Hot Toys and possibly Funko figures for Maguire and Garfield won't arrive until 2023. Whether we get a more formal announcement from either company remains to be seen.

This 2023 release window lines up with Hot Toys' previously announced schedule for their upcoming Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus figures, but if new Maguire and Garfield sixth-scale figures won't be announced until 2023, then it seems more probable than not that fans won't be able to get their hands on those updated versions until 2024, at the earliest.

Tom Holland headlines the Jon Watts-directed blockbuster with a supporting cast consisting of Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Tony Revolori as Flash Thompson, Angourie Rice as Betty Brant, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Hannibal Buress as Coach Wilson, Martin Starr as Mr. Harrington, J.B. Smoove as Mr. Dell, J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson, Benedict Wong as Master Wong, and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange.

Tobey Maguire (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Willem Dafoe (Green Goblin), Alfred Molina (Doctor Octopus), Jamie Foxx (Electro), Thomas Haden Church (Sandman), Rhys Ifans (Lizard), and Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock) reprise their roles from the previous Spider-Man films and the Daredevil TV series, respectively.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is now available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and Digital HD!

Everyone excited to buy toys for Andrew and Tobey like they haven't been selling stuff using those suit designs for years and years.

@ElricReturns - Well, toy quality has improved a lot. Specially on Marvel Legends. Old Tobey figures are really outdated compared to today's Legends.

For a second there I thought they were announcing Spider-Man movies with Maguire and Garfield, which I still think they should do (but with with writer/directors who actually care, and minimal studio interference).

Anyway, whats the deal with toys rights? Does Marvel get money for the licence, or Sony?

@bkmeijer1 - Disney/Marvel gets the good majority of the merchandise sales. That's one of the reasons why it was so heavily rumored at the time that Sony wouldn't care to expand the deal, if Far From Home made less than billion at the box office.

@FinnishDude - makes sense. Guess thats also the reason why Holland's Spider-Man had so many suits throughout the movies, so that Marvel still could cash in on that
