I love that Skottie Young cover but I don't want to spend $4.99 on a comic I don't really want just to make half of a great variant.

Spock may be my favorite iteration of spider-man to date. I've always been a fan. I hope he sticks around somehow. Some time lord meta-crisis...i don't care how, just so long as it happens.

OTTO SHOULD BE HIS VERY OWN SPIDER CHARACTER, WITH THE EXTRA LEGS HE ATTACHES TO GIVE HIMSELF 8 LIMBS, WHY DOESNT HE JUST CALL HIMSELF "THE ARACHNID"...OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. SPIDERMAN IS A NAME THAT HE FRONTS SUPERIOR OVER BUT DOESN'T HE WANNA EVER GET PAST THAT AND JUST BE HIS OWN ENTITY?

No, this is not an opportunity for SpOck to survive. We already know how this series will end, since it's a time travel story that happened last year.

As much as I dislike Spider-Otto and those stupid extra limbs, his costume is [frick]ing awesome.

This is a classic example of franchise fatigue. Marvel needs to cut back the constant 'everybody can be spiderman' stories. If it's not the clone (clown) saga then it's the Miles Morales garbage or 'Spider Island'. Back in the day when it was Spiderman 2099 it was new and isolated to the future. Now it's just a bad cycle of diminishing the value of Peter Parker with a flood of other options.
