Dane DeHaan Talks SINISTER SIX And Goblin's Redesign In THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

Saying that he knew he, "couldn't be walking around in a purple skirt and tank top and a skull cap," The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star Dane DeHaan talks about how Marc Webb's version of the Green Goblin still pays homage to the comics and teases a return for Harry Osborn in the planned Sinister Six spin-off.

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Chris Cooper, Paul Giamatti, Colm Feore, Sally Field, and Chris Zylka, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released in the UK on 18th April and in the US on May 2nd.

Dane DeHaan was the only good thing in TASM 2.

Saying that he knew he, "couldn't be walking around in a big wizard hat and robe and a wooden staff," The Lord of the Rings star Ian McKellen talks about how Peter Jackson's version of the Gandalf still pays homage to the books.

See how it sounds when you're NOT talking about a comicbook. Get off your high horse, already.

You're all crazy... well... not ALL of you, but I just watched this flick and it was amazing(pun sort of intended.) Yeah, sure, like any movie ever filmed it had its hokey moments, but please try to bare in mind that it's SPIDER-MAN! The ONLY real problem I had was with Rhino being Russian and that was because he sounded stupid. That was seriously it. For a bunch of supposed comic book fans, you guys get REAL uptight when movie's have hokey comic book moments. Odd that you would bitch so much about the movies not being enough like the books and then when they are you guys complain to no end that it's too cheesy. AWESOME CBM. Everyone should go see it and enjoy it. It's not hard to if you're not too far stuck up your own ass.

@Stubner

Being accurate to source material does not make a movie good, hell, if that's the case, this movie sucked even more because it wasn't accurate at all. Green Goblin and Electro's motivations made ZERO [frick]ing sense. There were plot holes the size of the grand canyon, the tone shifts like a bipolar pregnant woman and Peter Parker is still an un-likeable little twat. Not to mention that the movie is obviously cut to pieces and there's so much shit stuffed into the movie that it's either never explained or can't possibly work. This movie was awful.

Iron man 3 had just as many plot holes. Most CBM do. You're not watching The Godfather. You're watching colorful characters that are 50 years old coming to life. What do you expect? Seriously. Lighten up.

No, I'm not expecting The Godfather, but I'm expecting a good movie.

if you're killing gwen, it has to be done by norman. that scene was too iconic to be changed in such a drastic way imo.

You're being apologetic. Don't compare it to another superhero movie.

Seriously, for its budget, I expect a well written, well crafted movie.

And for the record, Iron Man 3 only had 3 plot holes. And not summoning the suits earlier is not one of them. It was established that the debris from the explosion prevented the doors from opening.

Well it was kind of just a prelude to the third film so... I look at it like the films not really over yet. Like Harry Potter or The Hobbit.

I live in the States, I know, but I watched a pretty damn good bootleg of it yesterday. Anyways. Agree to disagree I guess. It wasn't the best but it doesn't deserve the flack it's getting especially when you have god awful franchises like Transformers out there.

I give it 8/10 :) loved it seen it twice it's everyone's opinion at the end of the day but I love comic book movies and enjoy every minute of them! If your a true spiderman fan you'll enjoy this film as they get his humour spot on! And his morals are great! Go see it! Can't wait for the rest of the spiderman universe films
