We've already heard a little from Dane DeHann about his upcoming role as Harry Osborn in
The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but here he talks about the man who will be playing his on-screen father, Chris Cooper. DeHann has worked with him before, and thinks the father/son bond won't be difficult to form.
"I made my first ever movie with Chris Cooper, this movie 'Amigo' directed by John Sayles, we made in the Philippines four years ago," DeHann tells MTV News at the
Place Beyond the Pines press junket.
"And at the time I was a little scared of him, but he was so nice to me and I really, honestly, I have moments looking back on it where I truly looked up to him. So I’m really excited that he’s playing my father, because I think he’s just amazingly talented and I look up to him like a father and I think that that relationship will be really easy to form, for sure." There have been rumors that Harry may actually be the Green Goblin in this movie, or even possibly eventually become Venom! Whether that's the case or not remains to be seen, but it would seem that whatever incarnation of the character we are in for will at least be a physical one - DeHann also reveals that he's been working out six days a week and is sticking to "a really strict diet." He also reiterates that he'll be bringing his own interpretation of the character to the screen, ensuring Harry
"comes off as a living, breathing, actual human being."
