Preston Mutanga, the 14-year-old animator credited with creating some key sequences in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, has taken to Twitter to announce his involvement with Sony Pictures' acclaimed sequel.

Though Mutanga did pretty much confirm (possibly inadvertently) that he worked on the scenes already, he has now made it official by sharing a couple of images from the movie.

Though this wouldn't really fall into the major spoiler category, if you haven't seen the movie yet, you may not want to read on!

The shots spotlight the LEGO Daily Bugle building just after the Spot arrives and causes chaos, as well as LEGO Spidey taking a call from Miguel O'Hara ("beep, bop").

Check out the images below, along with a video spotlighting Preston's work on the project.

In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, after reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. However, when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

The confirmed voice cast includes Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Oscar Isaac, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Jason Schwartzman, Daniel Kaluuya, Shea Whigham, Jorma Taccone, Luna Lauren Vélez, and Brian Tyree Henry.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is now playing in theaters worldwide
