Spidey's one could have been better but I am happy with it, but Garfield looks like perfect fit for peter parker IMO. Cap costumes is different but I think it looks good too, definitely looks militaristic.

Spidey one does look more home made which is good..

As for cap it looks great, the brown strap is a 1940's touch something from a bicker helmet i think... also the wings are painted on like the A.. and the shield has damage on it which has been seen before in previous Shield images

@exiles agreed on everything dude, I also think Garfield looks far better than I ever anticipated in the Spidey outfit. yeah it does look militaristic, I just wish he didn't have that brown strap. Regardless, thank you for commenting

@paulley agreed, spider-man 3's version looked entirely cg at different points in the movie. You are right about the strap, but they could have modernized it to look a little cooler. I see about the paint as well lol, shield damage looks quite cool as well! Thanks for commenting man

I think they both look great. I think everyone else would feel the same if they didn't try to disect EVERYTHING to test the anatomy for source accuracy. As far as the Cap costume, I really don't think that one could be done any better than it is. Too many of us on the site forget or just don't care that these movies aren't made just for us. If they don't appeal to more than us CB fans, CBM's would never have gotten off the ground in the first place. It's not just us that ensure these flics hit the 300 mil mark.

Boredsox, I like how you seem to stay optimistic and accepting in these reveals. Keep up the good work!

@ TheMyth Well said bro. I didn't think of it that way, and I'm glad you brought it to my attention. The costume isn't bad, I'm just not a fan of that strap and the painted wings helmet lol. I thought they'd go a bit more with the ultimate version. But you're right, it isn't just for us. Again, well said. Thank you very much for the kind words as well dude, they do mean a lot.

@TheMyth totally agree with you there. Prime example is Scott Pilgrim pretty much all of us fanboy's loved that movie but it was a major flop. That was simply down to the fact that it didn't appeal to every one.

I am definitely looking forward to all the CBM's that are coming out this year and in 2012

@ exiles very good example man, that movie deserved far more than it received. I'm suprised it didn't appeal to everyone, cause I barely knew anything about it when I went to see it and I left that movie absolutely loving it. You're even looking forward to X-men first class? well..lets hope that trailer is as good as they say lol

well lets be honest first class will be a very bad adaption of the comic books but that but weather it's going to be bad movie we will find that out when we see the trailer, hopefully not some good talent involved especially the director

To be honest, I was expecting BOTH costumes to be epic failures. After seeing the pics though, I've changed my mind.

I really thought I'd hate the Spiderman one for sure because I thought it was too early to reboot. But after seeing the pic, I've sorta changed my mind. I guess I'm ready for some more Spiderman stuff. I hated the third movie and I doubt this could do worse than that.

I did expect the guy to bulk up a bit more though...

brazillianbatman @ I think those two guys in the background are HYDRA guys. And when you think that HYDRA were the scientific geniuses of WWII it seems to fit that their soldiers would be equipt with futuristic gear (for the time) in that pic.

Must be a tough conceptual trick to make stuff look futuristic and science-fiction based BUT still be set as a period piece. Will be interesting to watch the film and see how it turns out.

It's similar to the problems that would have faced the designers of the film The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen with Nemo's science fiction/steam punk gear.

I honestly love these costumes, the cap costume is fantastic and i love the helmet. I've seen a lot of people complaining about the spiderman costume because its "straying a little too far from the original". I think that the modifications are great, it keeps the original suit design while also giving it a more futuristic feel. this is a new age, so superhero movies should create costumes that have more of a modern look to them....just my opinion
