New Promo Poster For Spider-Man 3D

Sony have unveiled their new promo art for Marc Webb's upcoming Spider-Man reboot, which will henceforth be known(by me anyway!) as Spider-Man 3D. Prepare yourself for how awesome it is!!...

Ok, so its not awesome. At all. But its a very early promo. The thing that I find most interesting(hilarious) is that they didn't even bother to redesign the font titles from the previous movies! Either they still want some ties to Sam Raimi's films or Sony have some very lazy poster designers.

All we know for certain so far about the new Spidey flick is that it will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker(and is very enthusiastic about the role), Its being directed by Marc Webb(500 Days Of Summer, we have been told it will have a "gritty/contemporary" vibe and Mary Jane will not be the love interest.

There have also been rumors that The Lizard will be the villain and several actresses have been linked with the role of the female lead(believed to be Gwen Stacy), but none of that has been confirmed/denied by the studio.

IF any character deserves the 3D treatment it would be Spiderman. I was reluctant to see anymore movies in 3D after Avatar, but I checked out Resident Evil 3D and it was cool so i can see this being decent. I really hope they give him web shooters this time.

haha, sorry guys couldn't resist. Well, its SOMETHING. Hopefully just the beginning of the details Webb says will be forthcoming.

SPIDER-mAN 3d is just what i'm calling it because i'm sick of typing "The Spider-Man reboot". Its not official.

Shamna, nah its the real deal apparently. Collider received a bunch of official promo stuff for various films.

In a designer point of view I can say this is the laziest and lamest promo poster ever! Anyone can pull this off in 20 min…. So, or this is either a Fan-made art or a cover sheet for a pitchin' concept package. I really hope this is not a real "Teaser" for the Spidey reboot!

You gotta be shitting me. They go through all the trouble of mistakenly rebooting the franchise, yet there promo poster has almost the exact style as the previous trilogy. If its gonna look the same why not of just done the 4th! wtf is wrong with these guys. I mean serioulsy. They should feel like idiots for rebooting a great franchise.

is just a teaser so who give a shit if is just spiderman 3d on it they still have time to change the title and by they changing the webs to black you already know they going to change da suit. and ya people bitch about everything. i will enjoy the film even if its close to Tobey spiderman costume, cause a costume don't bother me cause da costume are costume no big deal.
