As I already said,I was looking at the teaer poster for Disney XD's upcoming show Ultimate Spider Man,I concluded who five of the figures are but who is the sixth?

As you can see the first five are:

Ultimate Green "Hulk" Goblin:

Ultimate Doctor Octopus:

Ultimate Nick Fury:

Nova:

Iron Fist:

But who is the sixth? My first thought was Iron Man,but I just looked harder and could'nt really see it.Someone else said Moon Knight with his hood on and I sort of saw that. Then I realized that there is three heroes/allies but only two villains,so I thought maybe it's a villain.
Who do you think it is?
Moon Knight?Iron Man?Give your opinion below.

As much as I hope that it's actually Moon Knight (because Moon Knight is awesome) I'm almost 100% sure that it isn't. It's The Shroud... Don't believe me? Look at this picture of the Ultimate Shroud.

I just hope that the only thing "ultimate" about this show's version of Shroud is the appearance, because 616 Shroud and Ultimate Shroud are about as different as is possible.

616 Shroud is a guy named Max Coleridge. After a batman-esque origin (involving the murder of his parents), Max joined the "Cult of Kali" and trained as a martial arts master. Eventually, he got their highest honor, which was the "kiss of Kali"... meaning they stuck a branding iron in his face and scarred his eyes shut. Once he woke up, he realized that, though he was blind, he could see using a sort of extra-sensory perception, and after a battle with the Red Skull, he gained the power to control shadows via the Darkforce dimension (because of his Kali abilities being exposed to some sort of weapon the Skull had built). He also was a part of a great storyline involving a team called "Night Shift". Night Shift was a team of supervillains Shroud got together, and sort of tricked into fighting other supervillains.

Ultimate Shroud, on the other hand, is Kitty Pryde. Kitty was worried about showing her face after Ultimatum (or something like that...) so she became "The Shroud". No ESP, No Darkforce powers, no Cult of Kali. Why did they even call her "Shroud"?

I really hope they go 616 for the backstory...

well it looks like its not exactly 100% adaption of the ultimate spidey which makes sense. so shroud could be possible but so could moon knight. its interesting seeing nova in there hopefully its richard rider as in the 616 nova because as far as i remember the ultimate nova was rick jones and he didnt look anything like the 616 version or have any of his powers. definitely going to watch this though cant wait

@Ibz-- I never thought about the fact that Ultimate Nova looks nothing like 616 Nova, but the reason I am sure that the hooded figure is Shroud isn't because Ultimate Shroud is essentially a Spider-Man exclusive character, but because the straps across the neck-area and torso of the figure make it look identical to Ultimate Shroud (not to mention how low the front of the hood is, which is sort of the only definable characteristic carried from the 616 version to the Ultimate version...)

i am not saying that why you came to the conclusion because of that. i am just intrigued by the fact that nova looks like the 616 version

@Hamm3r I don't really see how he wouldn't be Iron Fist, since you can clearly see the symbol on his chest.

I'm also hoping that the "hooded" figure is The Hood, he would be an amazing character for any kind of adaptation and I think playing the part of a Spidey villain wouldn't be weird for him, after all he is based on New York.

is this a official teaser poster, I am honestly looking forward to this. Spidey teaming up with other heroes reminds me of the spidey toon back in the 90's. I loved when it had other characters on. so glad that marvel got the animation rights back, but its a shame to see spectacular spiderman get cancelled.

yeah,i love the animated 90's marvel universe. We saw fantastic four in the newest avengers. And pictures of the xavier mansion mentioning secret mutan school, plus the punisher logo, and man thing spotted. So a new animated universe might make sense.
