In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. @Reef umm you just went full retard man, TASM was hated from the get go. Small margin of people actually were wanting it to succeed. It suprised many people, I wouldn't say " great" but it was batman begins/First class good. Meaning good start to a trilogy

I liked TASM, it wasnt great, but I felt like it was a good movie and I really enjoyed Garfield's Peter and Emma's Gwen Stacy. I think they really nailed the Spider-man character

I hope the second one is just as good, if not better than Spider-Man 2.

I need these movies to be good. Its all I have left of Peter Parker and the REAL Spider-man

@reef well it's the highest grossing reboot. Money isn't everything but it is the higest grossing reboot. It's your opinon but TASM IMO is on the level of those movies. If you didnt like the movie then don't bother coming here, you're just wasting your time

I've been a fan of Spider-Man my whole life, and I really like TASM. Looking forward to this movie MUCH, MUCH, MUCH more than Bryan Singer's pile of crap, but not as much as I wanna see The Winter Soldier.

The reason the movie felt the same as the first film story wise is becasue well.....it was written by the same guys lol. TASM2 will be the first Spidey flick to be free of any previous trilogy influence.
