The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

The Amazing Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field, the films swings into theaters July 3, 2012 in 3D!

Came here expecting another April Fools post, was pleasantly surprised.

I remember reading about how Andrew Garfield was saying they really tried to figure out how spider powers would affect Peter Parker as a normal guy, like what things in his daily life would change. Seems like this is a small taste of that and it's pretty cool. Thanks for posting.

I haven't found the other clips yet. I went to Target and Cub and this was the only one I found. I'll hit up Walmart later to see if I can find one of the other ones.

I found this one on a specially marked box of Crunchy Nut cereal.

It's cool, I guess, but we need this Peter (Maguire) and not this super cool, funky hair style guy. I like Andrew and Mark Webb, and Emma, but...

@nowtheresaBATman Real Peter? You want me to believe that in TAMS he will be an outsider? Being super handsome and smart, wearing cool clothes? If that would be real, girls would be all over him. How can I believe that nobody likes him, if he seems "perfect". That is much for realism. I would rather believe that nobody likes "fat nerd" than a hipster with a skateboard attached to his backback, because he is soooo cool. And also his magical hair. The real Peter is the nerd that (almost) nobody likes, who gets superpowers. Again: Andrew - Ok, Tobey - FTW! (In my opinion)

Andrew Garfield is going to own as Peter Parker/Spiderman. He was born to play this role. Of course anything is better than the whiny brat Maguire played.

i agree with @peterparkersweb. Its doesnt seem realistic that nobody would like Andrew Garfield. Tobey was the perfect spider-man looks wise (also a good actor) because he actually looks like a nerd like Peter Parker was. Also, @spanglish, I've seen your comments on a few articles now and i must say you are a retard. The crap that you say is just stupid and doesnt make sense and is not in any way shape or form funny. At all.

First of all thank you @SoulxAvenger for understanding.
Second of all -- guys if you want to have those clips just download the aplication and then scan one of those pictures (it really works, I checked):

and

I can't find the third clip tho :(

The subway pic takes you to the clip from this article and the first pic shows a funny scene between spidey and car thief from the trailer (he is webbing him to the wall and making fun of him). Those who've seen the 8 min. previews of the amazing spider-man will recognise that scene, because it was shown.

@PeterParkersWeb

Andrew Garfield in my opinion does look like Peter Parker. You talk about his wardrobe as if he's some sort of fashion god when in fact he looks just like an average kid. Remember nerds nowadays avoid "nerdy" clothing to avoid themselves from being stereotyped. Also, we are in a new generation. The stereotypical nerd look is entirely nonexistent and is replaced with common teen clothing.

I'm not going to make conclusions about you, but to me, it seems as if you want Peter to be a full on loser. In the comics back in the 60's we see Peter as the epitome of the stereotypical loser. However, times have changed, and so have the nerds. Instead of stereotyping a nerd, Marc Webb modernizes it and makes it (I will go as far as saying this) more realistic.

I'm not calling you a hater or anything, but please do not let this nitpicking and cynicism ruin the movie for yourself. I want you to remove all bias and wait for the movie to come out and make the right judgement so that you may possibly enjoy the movie. Support Spidey!
