Marvel released on their site that Martin Sheen has officially nabbed the part of "Uncle Ben" Parker in Marc Webb's upcoming reboot of Spider-man. Sheen joins Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Rhys Ifans in the cast.

The movie hits theaters July 3, 2012 in 3D.
