The Lizard Speaks In New Featurette For THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

The Amazing Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field; the film swings into theatres July 3rd.

AMAZING. And Lizard looks the most bad ass villain of the summer. Seeing glimpses of him on 3D were insane, I can only imagine how much cooler he will be in the whole film.

It's extremely different from the villains in other CBMs, he's actually turned into a monster, and I think they did a pretty great job !
Cant wait !

Looks almost as good as the CGI they used for the Hulk in the Avengers, and that's saying something.

I think an intelligent talking lizard is a better option than just a mindless beast it makes for a more sense and more of an interesting villain so excited for this July 3rd can't come quick enough

Big budget special effects as they were meant to be viewed... on low-res youtube videos.

@Chloe When he talks he emotes as much as a [frick]ing normal person does. Do your eyes dart back and forth when you're talking to someone or do you maintain eye-contact? If your eyes do, there's either an irritating bug hovering beside their head or you're socially awkward. His face does show emotions... Jesus christ, LOOK AT IT.

@blackandyellow The formula didn't completely transform him, unless you're too damn oblivious to notice, he's a human-lizard.
@jme *Killer Croc makes a great Lizard* considering that he is a rip-off LOL

YES PEOPLE the Lizard SPEAKS and even makes plans in the comics.. There was like one story arc where he was an animal, all other versions have him just as intelligent as Connors, only nothing like him.. Kind of like Jekyll and Hyde..

I don't know where it got out that the Lizard is mindless in the comics,, oh well
