Spider-Man: Edge of Time is a focused, action-packed adventure set in two connected and evolving timelines, from the contemporary times of the Amazing Spider-Man to the corrupted future world of Spider-Man 2099, against the backdrop of a rich, tightly crafted narrative by acclaimed Marvel veteran Peter David (co-creator of the comic book series Spider-Man 2099). The game features all-new "cause-and-effect" gameplay, where players will see how the immediate and sometimes unexpected effects of their actions as one Spider-Man changes the timeline of the other Spider-Man.


According to various reports, these suits (taken directly from the "Identity Crisis" comic storyline released in 1998 where Peter Parker took up alternate heroic identities) will give Spidey bonuses for health, damage output, health regeneration, or shield regeneration depending on which suit he has equipped.

Spider-Man: Edge of Time will be available on all major platforms come October 25th, later this year.

For all the people who whine about the lack of a sandbox Spidey game, IGN made a really good point about why developers should stick to non-open world environments.

Dusk is cool, but lacks artistic talent like bbarber2323 pointed out. Ricochet is cool except for the grey badger woven into the scalp.

I like extra costumes in the game. But when the change radically from the originally but they ke ep the same moves and animation for. Techaracter the alt costumes never work.

These costume designs have been around for years as Spiderman's alternate identities... Other people have taken up the mantles since but, really?!?! Does anyone here not remember this?

Dusk, obivously has always been the most ingenious costume ever. Prodigy looks weird-like he took a bath in yellow paint and slapped on some metal workout shorts. But I never liked that identity. I disliked him alot during the Slingers(and Civil War). I like Ricochet alot but this version looks like his body costuke is made of latex. Look at those abs. Hehe.

i love how people are hating on these costumes, when they are simply part of the spider-man history. they look exactly like they do in the comics so dont talk trash about them just because you haven't read the comics. I think it's awesome that they added these in the game. It'll definitely add a whole new side of it.

it took that many comments before SCIONSTORM and Deviadams reminded everyone whos said the costumes are bad, good awesome stupid.....that all it is is just part of the Spider-Man History.

I do got to say that it would be even more awesome if these alternate costumes came with their own move-set :D
