Why do people keep commenting or hating on the tone of the DC films? If you have EVER read DC Comics you would know that DC Comics is ALLOT darker than Marvel Comics.

And there is also a double standard because if DC copied Marvel people would be like "There just copying Marvel. But if they don't copy Marvel then people re like "Why don't they copy Marvel."?

Patton Oswalt complains about DC posters brooding lol, mean while Marvel is also doing the same thing with all their characters.

And the dark and brody tone is what is making Arrow great? Don't get me wrong, i like Arrow myself, but if he talks so much about embraising the comicbookton as the charachters has should he not then hate Arrow since Oliver Queen is supposed to be a wizecracking womanizer????

Or maybe i'm wrong? I'm not a big DC guy, 90% my DC comic collection is Batman i'm a HUGE Batman fan. I have some Superman, Teen Titans, and a few issues of Justice Leauge. But I want to know how the die-hard DC fans feel about this?

Who cares? Everyone has a different taste, and his isn't DC's. One person's opinion isn't very relevant to anothers.

It's also not hard to see why he has a Marvel preference, considering he works for them.

Christopher Nolan's Batman films were awesome, with The Dark Knight being the greatest comic book film ever made. Man of Steel was an average CGI-fest action film. It wasn't very different from Marvel's films except Marvel's films are super duper fun. Man of Steel was very forgettable and after watching it two times I have no desire to watch it a 3rd. It was just a bland movie. Hopefully Batman will add some spark to it because God knows it needs it.
