With the news of Marvel t.v shows coming out i beg the question if Spiderman would work.

For this idea I'd say you have two choices: go with the more well known Spider-man, Peter Parker, and have a better fan base from the beggining, or Miles Morales and slowly work your way up while also gaining popularity from the general audience.

I believe if the makers went with Peter it would play out like this: You will have an episode or two to establish his origin, and from then on it is their creation. They could pull out popular stories for the fans like us while also making their own. At some point though he would have to meet S.H.I.E.L.D and be played by the people in the movies. It could possibly very popular and stand with T.Vs best.

If they picked Miles Morales it would happen like this. Again start with the origin(you might have to show the original spiderman dying but there will be more on that later) and establish the main and supporting cast. For this i think it would be best if they updated the show as the comics are being released.

I also had another idea of doing both. They would begin with Peter stay with him for maybe 5-10 seasons, and when they are finished kill him off like in the comics. Later on they would introduce Miles and do his story.

So would Spiderman work as a show yes, definitely. With the right people behind it it could be a fantastic and monumental show. So tell me what you think on this subject in the comments section below

It would be strange to see this on TV after all of the big screen attempts, but this could work as a TV show for sure.

Why not? There are lots of stories to tell that have been done in animated form many times, so why not live action? As long as they didn't cheap out on the effects.

If we can have Lois and Clark and Snoreville we can at least have one Spidey show.

No. Spider-Man is a character that can only be presented on a large scale. Yet again, the new movie looks like it has the budget of a Smallville episode.

Spidey belongs on the big screen

It could work. Marc Webb has ideas for multiple movies. With that a live action show could fit all of them in.

Would be cool, but the character has such a large scale of recognition it would be weird.. He's ment for bigger things
