Earlier today, USA Today had dropped a brand new still image from this year’s highly-anticipated Suicide Squad movie to accompany the newspaper’s exclusive chat with director David Ayer, plus Batman v Superman:  Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder and stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill. However, USA Today’s low-resolution of that image certainly did not do it justice as it’s now been released in a glorious high-resolution.  Featuring a battle-ready Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), and the Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), with Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman), the sweet image can be seen below.

@JamesMann Nice! Tatum was a presenter at the Golden Globes tonight, And he looks like he's growing his hair out for Gambit already. No one realizes that movies is also coming out this year, I think it could be the one that surprises everyone. Because with the sure success of Deadpool, Batman v Superman, Captain America, X-Men & SS. They know they'll have to step their game up in order to get peoples attention for that film!

@Almazing Croc isn't just the Arkham Games you're use to, As you can see in his debut in that cover @Desrow posted. It's his original look and that's what we're getting in SS, So i'm not sure why you say he's not accurate in size in that official pic above?

If you've seen any of Ayer's work, you know this movie will be entertaining as hell with solid acting and camera work.

He's as dependable as they come.

@PsychoticSpaceRaccoon Uhhh....do you remember Street Kings or that terrible Arnold Schwarzenegger movie?

Fury and End of Watch are great though.

Why do you have to bring counter examples into my positive hyperbole? I didn't ask for that!

But you're certainly not wrong.

Wait, I thought it was a movie, not a CW show..

Still not seeing what's so great about this movie, but let's hope it's good.

Suicide Squad is Ayer's baby, so I'm definitely positive he will deliver a FANTASTIC film here.

In regards to his filmography, Street Kings wasn't written by Ayer, and Sabotage he barely contributed to it's writing at all.

He came up with the idea for this film, wrote it and directed it. When he has full control, his stuff is GOLD.

Reasonnnn

@BatmanHeisenberg doesn't matter if he didn't write it. He has a lot of say (he's the director) on what stays and what leaves during the preproduction stage. still blemishes on his filmography. No director is perfect, it's fine.

@Almazing I apologize, You are correct about not stating "Comic Book Accuracy". I'm sure it'll be his performance that'll be the wow factor if the look is not impressing you, Plus i think the look will be much better in motion. In the trailer the prosthetics look great!

AztecaAguilar04 - 1/10/2016, 10:40 PM
@Jaspion Trust in the director who is in charge of this project, If you've seen his previous films you will know that he works best with team ups for example.. End Of Watch, Fury & finally Sabotage. Even though that film wasn't his best to date the camaraderie in that team was amazing!

Fair enough. It just seems with those other films that weren't well receieved, they weren't his "babies" so to speak. They seem to have been written by moistly other people. This seems like something that is mostly his creation, which is awesome. It was greenlit in the first meeting, I think that's a good sign.
