According to Latino Review's El Mayimbe, John Wick directors, Chad Stahelski and David Leitch, are being looked at for an unknown DC Film. El Mayimbe also "reveals" that the costume of the dead Jason Todd is on display in the Batcave, and that Jason Todd is a priority character at DC . So maybe there's a chance we'll see Todd return as the Red Hood down the line

The Latino Review scooper also reports that in David Ayer's Suicide Squad the Joker and Harley Quinn have a strained relationship, because unlike the Clown Prince of Crime, Harley feels guilty over the death of Jason Todd.

John Wick was one hell of a film, they get my vote to direct Batman.

They'd be a good choice for that Green Arrow: Supermax idea David Goyer was tossing around.

If it's a Batman solo movie based on Death in the family then no one is better than Ben Affleck to helm it.

John Wick was awesome movie, but it was pure action with minimal story. He is not credible enough to direct such massive films. Though the gun shots scenes in the movie totally resonate with Red Hood. But still not sold about the idea.

@Dev7

Oliver doesn't have to be dark but the world around him can be dark.

The Outsiders War is the perfect Green Arrow story to adapt and that's relatively dark and fits the style of John Wick.

Haven't seen Wick, might if they direct a DC movie, heard it got good buzzz and holy shit Jason Todd! As long as Nightwing is somewhere in the DCCU, I'm good.

@TronVin

1) They don't have the clout right now to tackle Batman IMO.
2) Green Arrow isn't happening, just ever in the current superhero extravaganza
3) Cyborg with some brute force action choreography mixed with gunplay is very appealing.

@TronVin 2* Green Arrow would serve better as a utility player like Hawkeye, Black Widow.

can definitely see them either directing Aquaman or Cyborg. If this Jason Todd rumor is true, the my theory was correct. They are most likely starting off the Batman solo film with Under the Red Hood. I'm all for Dylan O'Brien for Jason Todd! He's the right age and a great actor. What do you all think?

@Reasonnnn

I disagree about your Green Arrow point. I think there could be some great and lower budget films told about the character for example The Outsiders War, which could totally fit their style.

Also, another great film they could make is Deathstroke, which David Goyer said back in 2013 (along with Suicide Squad, Booster Gold and Team 7) was in development.
