We recently heard about a number of surprising DC Comics villains that director James Gunn is reportedly planning to introduce in The Suicide Squad, and now ROTF has added another to the list.

Although the character is not named, they reckon Gunn is searching for an actress in the 20-30 age range to play a "monstrous alien femme fatale," who is also described as being a "surly, muscular creature" who will require a lot of prosthetics to bring to life on the big screen.

Who could this be? There are a few DC baddies that might fit this description, including Voodoo, Lyssa Drak, and Rampage (who is not technically an alien, but there's always room for creative licence!)

What do you guys think? Any idea who this bruiser could be? Drop us a comment down below.

I hope Gunn isnt making the same mistakes Ayer made...

The Suicide Squad should be a more grounded black ops bad guys vs worse guys.

No more Incubus type shit please

@ELAYEM - I agree. Seems odd that this task force is being sent to ‘Save the World’ they should be doing the things the heroes wouldn’t.

I wouldn’t mind a heist movie, stealing from Luthor or going into a country illegally to obtain something ‘alien’ before the locals find it.

The biggest problem with SS's story was that the stakes were TOO high. I hope they don't make that same mistake.

@WakandanQueen - I can't wait for the article about that. Another billion for Marvel Studios.

I know it most likely won't be her, but Cay'An was the first female that popped in my head. Bringing in one of Martian Manhunter's villains would require prosthetics to show her strength and power level, but I think it is just me wishing for anything to get the Martian Manhunter movie to get made.

After more thought it most likely will be one of the female Furies. They may look human, but they are aliens and would be a way to introduce the world to Apokolips.

@DnA - I'm not saying go with that at all and know it would be modernized.

I just would hope WB would find a way to keep Cay'An with I don't give a care what I look like style she was known for.

There can easily be a happy medium and I think they should be able to find it. Something like what Disney did to Dejah Thoris in the John Carter movie should work.

Could be a New God. Could be Granny Goodness or one of the female furies?

I like that we're having an alien element. Could make room for Pom Klementieff to return as Willow for Gunn.

For those that don't know, Willow is Mantis.
Her creator, Steve Englehart had her leave the Avengers to... well to copulate with a tree, essentially (not Groot) and then he brought her into the DC Universe (as if it were the same universe with the same character) in which she became green for the first time and decided to be called 'Willow' because her other name she could not say for cosmic (legal) reasons.

After taking her with him into the stories of several other comics companies, he then brought her back to Marvel in the pages of Silver Surfer, now green-skinned and a mother.

James Gunn could do the exact same thing, since he's doing both Suicide Squad and GOTG3. Even legalities wouldn't stop him.
