Brandon Routh and Sam Huntington are the stars of the upcoming sci-fi comic book adaption 'Dylan Dog', and while doing their rounds of press for the movie it was inevitable that they would be asked to look back on 'Superman Returns' and we heard a little bit of what they had to say last week from SuperHeroHype but here they go a little more in-depth with Routh saying he would've liked to have seen some more fighting, and more shots of him actually flying as opposed to CGI.

Brandon Routh:
“I loved the movie, I’ll stand by it,” said Routh. “Did it do everything that everyone wanted? That every fan boy and girl wanted? No. Do I think there should have been more fighting in it? Yes. It would have been great to have some fighting. Would I have liked to see more of Brandon as Superman flying, versus CGI Superman flying? Yes, because I just think that pulled me me out of the film a little bit. They did an amazing job, but there were still some shots that were not as good as the real thing, honestly. There's that but you know I'm 6 years older now then I was then, I'm so much more mature, I feel like I could have brought more maturity to the character."

Sam Huntington:
"I actually would be hard pressed to look back at anything in my career and not say 'Yea you know I would've done that a little differently', because hindsight is 20/20 but that being said, we were committed to that film, I loved making that movie, but yea obviously there's things you'd change but it is what is ya know."

I think it's safe to say I'm in the minority of people who enjoyed Superman Returns, and I'm a die hard Superman fanboy. True, there are a lot of things that could've been done differently but overall it was a good interpretation of Superman.
