Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.

It's a great book, I just read it. I recommend any fan of CBMs to read the novelizations. I learned more about Ra's Al Ghul's backstory from the book thanI did from the film. Same with TDKR - You know why the Joker's out of sight after you read the book.

Lets hope the novel can explain why Superman would want to commit genocide against Krypton even though it was against the whole idea of his Jor-El's wish that his son would act as a bridge between two peoples.
