In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. It's an OK poster not the Photoshopped mess that most CBMs like to do now adays. Cavill looks [frick]ing awesome as Superman though.

Thought would be a poster, people can't have been expecting a trailer when one is out in just under 2 weeks.

I thought there was a possibility of a teaser for the trailer, but that wouldn't have shown much anyways.

On the poster itself: It looks alright, one thing will perhaps illustrate to newbies to Superman is this is going to be a version that is grounded, perhaps depowered and generates a kinda 'what's going on here? Superman's captured?' feel.

It's pretty cool, but a bit underwhelming.
Still is a shit idea to give us a poster for preordering. Where's the teaser for the teaser for the trailer?

@SotoJuiceMan It was in the box of his father's old things. He helped Cap build his shield and started construction on another when he went missing. Not that hard when you think about it.
