POLL: Which Of The Announced 2013 Superhero Movies Are You Most Looking Forward To?

Man of Steel, Iron Man 3 and THOR 2. There's no two ways about it, 2013 is going to be one hell of a year for our favorite superheroes. The question now is, which of these are you most excited about?

With Man of Steel pushed back until June 2013, and Marvel confirming the release of Iron Man 3 and THOR 2 either side, it's going to be a great year to be a fan of comic book movies. While there's still a very slim chance that one or two more heroes will also hit the big screen in just under two years time, it's these three which currently have fans counting down the days. The question now of course is which of these you guys are most excited about. Is it the return of Superman in the hands of 300 and Watchmen director Zack Snyder? How about seeing Iron Man return with new helmer Shane Black after the less than perfect Iron Man 2? And what of the God of Thunder's return after the fantastic movie released earlier this year, reportedly in the capable hands of Brian Kirk? Well, here's your chance to decide...

If Man of Steel doesn't win!!!!!!!!! You've seen Thor, and it sucked, and we've seen Iron Man twice and loved it. We've simple glimpses of the Superman costume and we're already in love, this should be a no brainer...

Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel are on the same level both could be good or bad... same with Thor 2 but I think it'll be better than both of the others but idk... hoping Marvel adds Doctor Strange to that list of CBMs in 2013! :)

Probably Thor 2. Thor was one of the best movies I've seen all summer.

from a scale from 1 to 10:
MOS: 9/10
IM3: 8.5/10
THOR: 8.5

the reason I'm slightly more excited for MOS is that there hasn't been a good Superman movie since,I don't know, the 70's.
Iron Man already has two movies and Thor had a big hit this year (not to mention they both appear in The Avengers)

2.....cant believe I'm gonna say it.....THOR 2
3. Iron Man 3

for me, THOR 2 beats Iron Man only cause the only reason I saw Iron Man 2 was for Scarlett Johansson lol

1. Man of Steel
2. Thor 2
3. Iron Man 3

Its really hard to say with no trailer for either of these movies in sight any time soon. This is not necessarily the order I think of how good these movies will be though.

I'm most excited about MoS because we finally have Superman in the hands of an action-oriented director, especially after the drama-filled snorefest that Superman Returns was.. And its Zach Snyder, no less! I liked 300 and Sucker-Punch. I didn't like Watchmen too much , but the action was top-notch at least.

Second is Thor 2 because I loved everything in Thor 1, but the action was VERY weak. I think with that cast, if you add in some more action and excitement, Thor 2 can be as epic as Thor 1 was supposed to be.

Last is Iron Man 3 simply because the first 2 were go, so I know this one will most likely be decent also. I don't really know what a new director can bring that Farveau didn't already get right except a little more action... and the first two were only barely short on anyway.

Both Iron Man and Thor have had really great films in the last few years, but it has been DECADES since Supes was done any kind of justice on the big screen. He's the character that needs to really step up his game and shine after the absolute mediocrity of Returns.

I'm highly anticipating them all, however.

Make mine Marvel, but as someone's said, we know jack shit about the other two movies so will go with Supes on this one.

Also quite excited about seeing how a new perspective on the character pans out. We pretty much know what to expect with Iron Man and Thor, and will be even more familiar with them post-Avengers.

Man of steel is the Randy moss of the group. It has the greatest potential to dominate, but also the greatest potential to utterly disappoint. I like the direction they took the suit, the actor (at least supes looks jacked), and the director. It'll either be 300/watchmen stunning or sucker punch bad.

Wow, I didn't expect so many ppl to say Thor 2. This is hard for me Cuz Supes and Thor are my favorite heroes. I'm going to say MOS by a hair. Thor 2 will be epic. Just keep it on Asgard, and explore the other realms. Iron Man 3 needs to have the Mandrian in it. Point blank.
Mechagino
Mechagino - 9/2/2011, 9:34 AM
Iron man 3, I would say IF they're picking the Mandarin and Fin Fang Foom but if not... Man of steel ftw!

brewtownpsych

I base my opinion on the following facts:

1. Sequels are never as good as the original, + 1 MOS
2. IM3 will not have the same director and is 3rd in the sereis (automatic disqualification) based on prior history
3. Thor 2 has potential if the same director is used, +1 Thor.
4. We really don't know anything about the Marvel movies, so unknowns are really just too high to say with any certainty (except Thor 2 as said above);
5. If MOS is even close to being as good as Watchmen or better, that's enough hope to add to the anticipation +1 MOS.

Therefore, MOS, then Thor 2 and IM3 not at all, you heard it here, that movie will tarnish the reputation of the Iron Man franchise (first 2 were great)
brewtownpsych
brewtownpsych - 9/2/2011, 9:43 AM
* have to take one thing back about sequels -- if Thor gets a bigger budget and director is given more freedom, then it could surpas the original, so maybe it does have that potential. MOS by a hair then.
jaysin420
jaysin420 - 9/2/2011, 9:44 AM
I'm a Superman freak that always hated Thor, and now I'm just praying that MOS is half the movie that Thor was (especially if you throw in those awesome deleted scenes).
ManofSteel23
ManofSteel23 - 9/2/2011, 9:48 AM
thor was crap it didnt go anywhere
iron man 3 will be better because it wont have to lead to the avengers obvi
