Filed Under: Superman (Animated)

In All-Star Superman, the Man of Steel rescues an ill-fated mission to the Sun (sabotaged by Lex Luthor) and, in the process, is oversaturated by radiation – which accelerates his cell degeneration. Sensing even he will be unable to cheat death, Superman ventures into new realms – finally revealing his secret to Lois, confronting Lex Luthor’s perspective of humanity, and attempting to ensure Earth’s safety before his own impending end with one final, selfless act.

Voices from James Denton (Superman), Christina Hendricks (Lois Lane), Anthony LaPaglia (Lex Luthor), Ed Asner, Frances Conroy, Matthew Gray Gubler, Linda Cardellini, Arnold Vosloo, Catherine Cavadini, Finola Hughes, Obba Babatunde, Alexis Denisof, John DiMaggio and Michael Gough.

Released on DVD & Blu-ray February 22, 2011 from Warner Premiere.

LEEE777 - All-Star Superman will come in a 2-Disc Special Edition DVD features approximately 1 1/2 hours of extra content, including a sneak peak at Green Lantern: Emerald Knights and more. Its also released on Blu-Ray in a Blu-Ray combo pack which includes approximately 2 1/2 hours of bonus features.

Disappointed with no short on this. Unless their counting Green Lantern: Emerald Dawn release as a short.

Read the first volume of All Star Superman, thought it was good. Definitely will pick this up.

I love how they match the art style to the original comics on these new releases.

@Vermillion

They could only do the shorts on the stipulation they were released as their own collection which did not sell well so I think we might not see more shorts.

If this film is half as good as the comic then it could be the best Superman movie. I am really looking forward to this.

dp @ RED HOOD was alright but I still think the best one that owns is JLA: FRONTIER & PUBLIC ENEMIES I!

Though their all gold compared to Marvel ones, hope that changes now we have DISNEY there lol.

The graphic novel was so good I'm confident this movie will be epic, now if we could get the same epicness in the live action the path leading to the JL movie will start.
