Description - Emerging from their hidden lair in the sewers, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles visit the surface for the very first time and confront the wondrous and hostile world of New York City! They immediately face a group of thugs attempting to kidnap April O’Neil and her father Kirby. Failing miserably to rescue Kirby, the band of reptile brothers promise to help April find her father, and together, they learn the importance of working as a team. When the Turtles come upon a mysterious canister of mutagen, they realize the mystery of their existence is much bigger than they ever imagined. Now, with the proper ninjutsu training, and Leo as leader, the brothers are ready to face their worst enemies, including a race of extra-dimensional aliens known as the Kraang, a vast army of ninja warriors known as The Foot, and of course, the evil and ruthless Shredder.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The series airs Saturday mornings on Nickelodeon. The voice cast includes: Jason Biggs (Leonardo), Sean Astin (Raphael), Greg Cipes (Michelangelo), Rob Paulsen (Donatello), Kevin Michael Richardson (Shredder), Hoon Lee (Splinter), and Mae Whitman (April O'Neil).

This show is honestly pretty good. I anticipate it every week. Michelangelo is hilarious and the pretty much accurate references to ninja and Japanese culture is to be commended.

I think the CGI anime feel is to differentiate from previous versions. I think it was needed.

Looks sweet! Reminds me of the opening sequences from KFP style-wise, which is cool because I'd always wanted someone to do a cartoon completely in that rendering style.

Wingnut and Screwloose? Does that mean that we'll see old Fred Wolf/Archie characters return? My name is KillerTomato and I approve this.

They should Adam West and Burt Ward to voice the characters...though that Wingnut is a little more macho than Adam West...

Also I'm glad they went with the Shredder mask they went with...the Samurai-esque demon faces seemed a little much...

Not my turtles at all! The ones i grew up with in the 80's well close to them. A bit too goofy and off beat for my taste.

I grew up with the original movies and cartoon, and I must say this is the closest they've come to recapturing that spirit. The first few mutants sucked, though. And Shredder's voice isn't ominous enough.

i think the 4Kids show will never be rivalled. It is to the TMNT what Batman: The Animated Series is to Batman. So it would've been folly for this show to try and do the same thing.
I'm glad it's doing it's own thing, whilst staying true to the spirit of it all. The cast is excellent. They've got brilliant chemistry.
And that recent episode wherein Shredder kicks their asses? Awesome. And very much like the first issue, right down to the way Shredder lands on the rooftop and the turtles cuts and bruises.
It's brilliant. And that's coming froma die-hard fan. I love it.

I look forward to this show every Sunday. It's well written, accurate to the turtles, and the perfect rebirth for a new generation of kids to follow. This show captures everything I love about the turtles, and Splinter. I thought I would hate Splinter, but he's actually one of my favorites. Keep going with this show. Well done to the whole team for making this show a great success! LONG LIVE THE TURTLES!

I say the show is EXCEPTIONAL! It really captures the spirit & personalities of every character.

Aside from not really caring for Splinter's new look & the fact April is a young girl, this show is the only second to the original comics.

It has great action, cool fighting & it's real fun stuff for kids & adults.
