Before everyone rushes in to poop all over this, I'm gonna say I don't think they look that bad. Sure, they don't look like cartoon blueprints made into CG, but neither would a real human/turtle hybrid. If the rest of the movie is actually good - which is still the least likely thing about it, of course - these designs will not ruin it.

There, sorry for the interruption. Cue the generic dismissals!

i dont get the hate....yall complain ABOUT EVERYTHING!!!

"why do they have noses"
etc....
"they look horrible so does the cgi"

1. the turtles are big and thats GOOD i am glad they r big ....the thing is they arent THAT!! big...they are a FEW feet talleR! than the humans!
and they are TURTLES so they are going to be BIG....
get over it!! lol

the noses....why i did have a problem with it at first i dont no more!! i do perfer the old noses from the old movies but the noses are fine in this...

I like them all except Donny. He looks kinda goofy. Which bothers me cos he's my fave. But in fairness, after the new trailer I'm a bit more excited for this.

I think it's all an attempt to give them more distinct features. Different coloured headbands is the go-to way to differentiate them in a cartoon series where they just wanna be done with the legwork as fast as possible. Here they're probably trying to give them enough of a personal look that even if you stripped them entirely, you could tell who's who.

So Donny is probably just meant to have "nerdier" features, hence looking goofier.

The look is growing on me. At first the weird nose thing and how big they were was kind of odd to me. But now I am getting used to it. As long as the personalities are right then I am fine with updating the Turtles. And so far it looks like the personalities are correct. Mikey with the mask at the end is something I would definitely see Michelangelo doing. Donnie being smart and having the tech stuff on him is different but something that the Donatello we grew up with would be into. Leo and Raph look like badasses, so I am good.

I need this movie right now. Man I really love the designs. So awesome to different interpretations of my favorite comic book heroes. This movie is gonna kick ass.
