We're now less than two weeks away from the first public screening of The Flash at CinemaCon, and a new report is claiming that Warner Bros. plans on unveiling a second trailer for the DC Comics movie ahead of the premiere.
Though nothing official has been announced, @FlashFilmNews - who has shared accurate info about the film in the past - has heard that the new trailer will be released online on April 25.
The first trailer went over pretty well, and we have heard great things about the Scarlet Speedster's return to the big screen - although the studio has been accused of spin while attempting to build as much positive buzz as possible to counteract the negativity surrounding star Ezra Miller.
A recent report claiming that Tom Cruise loved the movie so much that he called the director to praise it was met with quite a bit of scepticism.
"Directed by Andy Muschietti, The Flash features Barry Allen traveling back in time in order to change events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to help. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian…albeit not the one he’s looking for.
Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?"
The Flash is produced by Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco, with a screenplay by Christina Hodson, an a screen story by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein and Joby Harold, based on characters from DC. Warner Bros. Pictures presents a Double Dream/a Disco Factory production of an Andy Muschietti film.
The Flash will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures and is set to open in theaters in North America on June 16, 2023 and internationally beginning 14 June 2023.
