Awesome find dude.

Now, Im not sure about this. Too much stupid "comedy". The comic is deadly serious with only the occasional bit of humor and even thats pitch black. That sort of elevator/pantless man shit just makes me cringe. That being said, it could just be playing up that crap in the trailer because audiences flock to it like flies to shit. And it has a great cast, and did you see my Zoe go? Baby's gettin some lovin tonight!:)

Also that better be like the only sentence Cougar says in teh whole film!

@bropous--C-list projects?!?! and the first one you mention is WATCHMEN!?!

Actually, I think that them going for less obvious characters means that they DO have a clue about the comic universe...it sounds like you're the one who needs to get educated.

BEWARE MEMBERS WITH NO AVATAR...

Those are all fanboy favorites. Watchmen's considered the greatest graphic novel ever. What do you mean C-list?

Looks very good. If you think about it, Jeffrey Dean Morgan(The Comedian, Watchmen) looks a lot like Robert Downey Jr., only Morgan looks a little bit more heavier.

PURE ACTION!!! Jason Patric looks like a good choice for Max. Although it would have been great to see that man behind the curtain type of character who keeps his face hidden. Little bit mystery and its great.

good trailer
nice cast
like to see it
that said,

bropus@ what the hell is wrong with you?
if you want to have a conversation about comics
understand the subject matter and it's proper
classification of awesome
other than Watchmen i agree with you
Elektra was pud smacking bad
and Lobo would be great
IF they ever get Superman right
this one doesn't look too bad
i'm guessing going for the lesser known titles
will draw out a wider ranged audience
people that wouldn't normally see comic book movies
sometimes they know what they're doing as far
as making money goes
but there are waaaaay too many major titles that need
to be handled before getting excited about secondary
characters as well
so, MAKE SOMETHING AWESOME ALREADY!!!

If you think that the movies are C-list, that's fine. I respect your opinion. I loved watchmen, but I can understand why you didn't. It's just that you made it sound like the comics themselves are C-list, and that's just not true.

Watchmen's considered the greatest ever, Lobo's awesome, and I haven't read the other ones. But these are what the fans really want to see. Some may be obscure, but they're sometimes the best comics out there.

...um. this is a comic book movie?

it kind of seems like a poor mans a-team. i don't like my action movies to be silly comedies.

@ bropous...ur an idiot. Have u ever read Watchman? It is one of the highest reviewed and fan favorite novels of all time. I just took an American literature course at UCLA and Watchman was one of the novels we read. Somehow I doubt that the professor chose it to be on the reading list because he thought it was C-list material. It is one of the most dense novels, as far as it is interlaced with hidden themes and references to modern political, social, and cultural concepts throughout, that I have ever read.

You need a much better argument rather than just throwing out random critiques with no evidence.

I've never read the comics, but this movie looks fun fun fun! I think Chris Evans found the perfect movie for his funny bones, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan is loose as hell.

And let's not forget that song in the trailer!

Nice...very nice. Looks like it could be a winner.

Bropus@ wow...can't disagree with you more. Sure Hollywood could cater to all the typical comic book characters; Batman, Superman, Hulk, Spiderman, X-Men, but the more interesting and sometimes much more developed characters are in less obscure comics like Watchmen. Just because a comic book is less obscure doesn't mean it is going to be a low-level movie release...except perhaps in your universe.
