First Look At Drift In His Autobot Form In TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT

First Look At Drift In His Autobot Form In TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT

We've seen a lot of photos of cars recently, but now the first official image of "Honourable Warrior" Drift in his Autobot form has been revealed by Michael Bay, and he definitely looks pretty cool...

A select handful of journalists visited the set of Transformers: The Last Knight today, and the first official details about the movie are expected to be revealed ten days or so from now. Until then, we have a first look at Drift to keep us going, and by far the biggest change here is the fact that he's now red instead of blue. As an added bonus, Michael Bay has shared a textless hi-res version of the teaser poster for the movie which will make a great wallpaper for your desktop if you're a fan of the artwork.

Set to be released on June 23rd next year, the movie will feature the return of Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager as well as new roles for Isabela Moner and Jerrod Carmichael. Production on
Transformers: The Last Knight is set to begin on June 6th, and will then move to currently unrevealed locations around the world as a new adventure begins. With Bay back in the director’s chair, the screenplay for the movie was written by Iron Man's Art Marcum and Matt Holloway along with Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down).

What do you think of this new look at Drift? Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place.

Not gonna lie he looks pretty sick. I'm hoping for a good movie, but I know it'll at least be an entertaining popcorn munching action flick.

So are Ken Watanabe and John Goodman back? Because I liked them in the last movie.

That last movie was the only one I could enjoy as a dumb action flick. Doesn't matter. None of these movies will never reach the awfulness of the second film.

@Quicker - so far they havent been announced, we dont hear about returning (espect for Peter Cullen) or new voice actors till after filming is over

The last film (bad as it was) at least nailed down the autobots interaction so heres hoping Micheal bay keeps that in check.

@JonTargaryen94 -
I disagree. The Transformers were exaggerated stereotypes (again) and Optimus Prime was a raging serial killer.

@JonTargaryen94 - I agree, I don't care as much about the human/transformer interaction as I do with the autobot/autobot interaction. I want more of that for sure.

@Darkknight2149 - Optimus in name only for sure. Ugh. It was painful watching that movie, but his scenes in particular were terrible.

This will be the first TRANSFORMERS film that I don't see in the theatres, even though it's being built up as a "rresh start" like TRANSFORMERS 4. Michael Bay proved with TRANSFORMERS 4 that we're not going to get a good TRANSFORMERS film as long as he's involved.

How could they mess up the color?

@LeonardTheWise - Because it's BayBots. Baybots have to be barely distinguishable from each other.

@Nivekian - True.

@LeonardTheWise - Not enough of a racist caricature to be in a Bay film. How will anyone know he is Japanese without a Samurai helmet on his head.

@LeonardTheWise - I'm more gob smacked they made a Japanese influenced character a [frick]ing German car! It's not like they didn't have half a dozen brands to choose from.... These movies are just shit.

@osideous - Drift looks like that now?? He looks super lame! The white look is way better, that's his original design, this looks super generic.
