Hound Is Back With A New Look For TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT In Latest Autobot Reveal

It appears as if John Goodman (10 Cloverfield Lane) will be back for Transformers: The Last Knight as the latest Autobot reveal from Michael Bay offers up a new look at the massive Hound...

We last saw Hound in Transformers: Age of Extinction, and he was among the Autobots assigned to protect the Yeager family by Optimus Prime in that movie's closing minutes. He doesn't look drastically different here, but the character has definitely received some upgrades which will make the boisterous warrior an even more formidable threat as the heroes head into battle against the Decepticons.

Set to be released on June 23rd next year, the movie will feature the return of Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager as well as new roles for Isabela Moner and Jerrod Carmichael. Production on Transformers: The Last Knight is set to begin on June 6th, and will then move to currently unrevealed locations around the world as a new adventure begins. With Bay back in the director’s chair, the screenplay for the movie was written by Iron Man's Art Marcum and Matt Holloway along with Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down).

What do you think of this new look at Hound? Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place.

So how many bet Jerrod Carmichael's character dies

Oh, boy. Hound, Drift, and Crosshairs are all back. Now I can actually have a tiny thread of hope for this. Just keep the creepy romance away and I can fully turn my brain off and enjoy it.

Well, part of my brain will be on asking myself "What's Anthony Hopkins doing in this".

@Quicker
The same reason John Turturro, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Kelsey Grammer, and Stanley Tucci did the last ones.

@Ramiel - You do realize that some Transformers characters have had facial hair going all the way back to G1, right?

There's plenty to complain about in these movies but robots with facial hair is not one of them, as that has always been the case in Transformers.

@sups92 - Another person that doesn't realize lots of Transformers characters have had facial hair dating all the way back to G1.

Which is funny considering that people that bitch the most about these movies are people that want them to be more like G1.

Why would a robot have a beard and smoke a shell?

eagc1995 - 8/8/2016, 8:32 PM
@EgoEgor - Not the first time that happens, in the TF universe they have this thing that is called Cy-gar, which you can tell what it is from its name and it was not made up for the movies
http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Cy-gar

and TF had beards since the beginning

@EgoEgor - We're talking about a movie where sentient alien robots that transform into vehicles came to Earth to wage war against each other because they destroyed their own homeworld, and your worried about a beard not making sense?

At what does suspension of belief start to kick in?

Also, Transformers have had facial hair all the way back to G1.

More Michael Bay stereotypes *Sigh* Another reason I'm never paying to see another TRANSFORMERS film in theatres as long as his name is attached. This franchise has so much potential that's being wasted, and to think they dragged poor Anthony Hopkins into this.

CorndogBurglar - 8/9/2016, 1:35 AM
@Darkknight2149 - Yeah I can't believe they forced Anthony Bopkins to do this movie at gunpoint either.
