The website, AC Toys (via tfw2005.com), has posted what appears to be Transformers: Age of Extinction licensing artwork from a catalog. The images, if real, would provide looks at the new versions of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and our very first look at T-Rex Dinobot, Grimlock. Let me add, AC Toys, has a very good reputation for scoops like this in the Transformers community, based on their postings during the last Transformers film, Dark of the Moon.

Also, a video (via tformers.com) has popped online, that features extras on the Hong Kong set running for their lives as audio can be heard of creatures (most likely Dinobots) roaring.

Thanks to the heads up from Udana Wijesuriya

I hate Bumblebee like this. Even in the current cartoons, I can't take Bumblebee's voice. The only robot that should be making beeps and whirls and whistles should be R2-D2.

"To any Transformers fan, how do they get a new arms and limbs?"

That would be Ratchet.

@blackandyellow - 10/25/2013, 12:55 PM

"Wait, does Transformers 4 start a "Phase 2" for them?"

Yup. Originally Bay wasn't going to direct but a fat paycheck and a sense of getting the next set of films off on the right foot brought him back to set the stage for the next fellow that takes over.

Unless there's a major box office let down, expect at least two more adventures of Samurai Prime and Friends after this one.

They have to redesign the Transformers. The lowest toy sale was from the 3rd movie because all the robots had been released before. If you just re-release them, collectors wont buy. By changing the design in robot or vehicle mode (not just color scheme) you will sell more toys. Movies can make more in toy sales then actaul movie tickets. It was toy sales that helped Lucas fund Empire by himself. And as bad as Batman and Robin was, it was the largest toy revenue then the previous 3 Batman movies at the time. All-in-all, the movies are just commercials for the toy lines.

And Bay is full of it. He said he would never use the Dino-Bots because he thought they were stupid. Hasbro wised up because the fans want them. Period!

They need to stop caring about toy sales. Kids don't play with toys any more. They play with I pads and smartphones. Toys are becoming obsolete. I probably play with my sons transformers more than he does.

I bought transformers toys as my collection,not playing it.so I think it is a good decision to redesign all transformers,to create a new toy.anyway,nice design.I'm looking forward of it.

Optimus Prime really does look like something out of Gundam Wing in those pics. I guess this is the avenue they're gonna take for the next batch of movies which are pretty much semi-reboots, makes sense to change the overly familiar clunky designs the first three movies had in addition to the new protagonist's and supporting cast.

Prime looks heavier. I can't wait to see the actual robot scenes. Here's to hoping a Superbowl teaser.
